Please help me pray for justice. My spirit was being robbed from me. The evil being who did it escape justice. Please help me pray that my spirit will be brought back to me. Thank you.

We hear the deep pain and injustice in your words, and we stand with you before the throne of God, who is the ultimate Judge and Restorer. The Bible assures us that the Lord is a God of justice, and He does not ignore the cries of the oppressed. "The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6). We also know that the enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). What was taken from you in the spiritual realm must be reclaimed through the power of Christ.
First, we must address the truth that justice belongs to the Lord, and vengeance is His alone (Romans 12:19). It is not for us to repay evil with evil, but to trust that God sees all and will execute perfect justice in His time. However, we also know that spiritual warfare is real, and the enemy seeks to devour (1 Peter 5:8). If your spirit has been afflicted or oppressed, we must take authority in the name of Jesus to reclaim what was stolen. Jesus has given us power over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19), and we must exercise that authority in faith.
We also want to gently remind you that our access to God is only through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or delivered (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we encourage you to do so, for He is the only One who can truly restore and heal. Salvation comes by confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). If you have already done this, we stand with you in declaring that what the enemy meant for harm, God will turn for your good (Genesis 50:20).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name. We lift up this dear one who has suffered injustice and spiritual robbery. Lord, You see the pain, the loss, and the oppression they have endured. We ask that You would bring Your perfect justice into this situation. You are the God who restores what was stolen, heals what was broken, and revives what was crushed. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn.
Lord, we take authority over every evil spirit that has sought to rob, steal, or destroy. In the name of Jesus, we command every spirit of oppression, theft, and injustice to release its hold. We declare that this child of God is redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, and no power of darkness has any claim over them. We speak restoration over their spirit, soul, and body. Let every stolen blessing, joy, peace, and spiritual gift be returned to them sevenfold, as You promised in Your Word (Proverbs 6:31).
Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, comforting them with Your presence and strengthening them with Your power. Let them walk in the fullness of who they are in Christ, more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). We pray for divine encounters with Your truth and Your people, that they would be surrounded by godly counsel and encouragement.
Lord, if there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or desire for vengeance in their heart, we ask that You would soften it and replace it with Your peace. Help them to trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You will avenge every wrong (Deuteronomy 32:35). We also ask that You would reveal any areas where the enemy may have gained a foothold, so that they may repent and stand firm in Your truth.
We thank You, Father, that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We believe that You are working even now to bring justice, restoration, and healing. May this dear one experience Your love in a tangible way and walk in the freedom that Christ died to give them. We seal this prayer in the precious blood of Jesus and declare that it is done according to Your will.

We encourage you to stand firm in faith, knowing that God is fighting for you. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you. Spend time in God’s Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). The enemy may have meant this for harm, but God will use it for your good and His glory. How quick we are to appeal to justice when we ourselves feel wronged! Yet consider: if the Lord should mark iniquities, who could stand? The cry of the wounded spirit is ancient, and it is real. But let us be certain we know what we ask. To demand strict justice from God’s hand toward another is to invite the same measure upon our own soul. No, you will never make out a good case if you appeal to God's justice, for Justice will try you, condemn you, and cast you aside. God will not deal with you on those terms. Confess that you are guilty! Ask Him, for His mercy's sake, to pass over your guilt.
The snare you describe, this sense of being robbed, may have a deeper root than you perceive. Our immortal spirit, which will outlive the sun, cannot be plucked from us by any creature. But it can be sorely wounded, ensnared by sin, and left in confusion. The charcoal fire of wrong company and wrong counsel, the fumes of it are evil. The dust of Satan’s sieve gets into our eyes and we cannot see clearly. Peter was hardly Peter that night of his fall, bewildered, mingling among the Lord’s enemies, until that look of Christ broke him. So it is with us: if I had not been wicked at the core, I would not have acted so wickedly, but the evil tree has brought forth evil fruit. It is well when actual trouble leads us to feel the depth of our original and natural sin.
What you need is not the return of some portion of yourself by way of vengeance on another, but a full restoration of your soul by the hand of your Redeemer. The snare is broken, and we are escaped. That is a canticle of certainty. It does not say, "We hope," but, "We have escaped." The Holy Spirit can give you back more than your former purity! He can create in you a clean heart and renew a right spirit within you. Truly, this is a blessed Gospel. Are you hiding behind the pillar there, grieving and ashamed? Hear this: the Lord renders good for evil. Were we not saved because the Lord rendered to us good for evil?
Turn, then, from brooding over the evil being who you say escaped. To recompense evil for evil is natural, but may God deliver us from the nature which makes it natural! It is easy, but from that sort of justice may our Redeemer rescue us. The old evil spirit within us snaps the bonds of morality and rushes to one form of sin or another. But the Spirit of God is a searcher as well as a healer, a destroyer of evil as well as a creator of good. Cry out, therefore, with David, “Take not Your Holy Spirit from me!” For if He departs, you are utterly undone. But if He comes, He brings life, restoration, and the power to love where once you hated.
Look to Christ’s look upon Peter. That glance was effectual because Jesus had prayed for him. You are not beyond the reach of that same interceding love. The grandeur of our Redeemer’s saving power shines brightest in the immediate prospect of our ruin. O Master, look on some poor dry heart here, some poor heart that cannot feel its sinfulness but would if it could, and give it feeling! Go to Him now, confessing that your greatest enemy has been within, the den of evil in the heart, and trust Him to set you free. No net shall hold you. Pray not chiefly for justice on another, but for mercy upon yourself, and the Lord will restore your soul.

The cry of your heart reaches heaven, but do not think that the theft of your spirit went unnoticed by the Judge of all. The evil one can only snatch what we willingly hand over through neglect or sin. If you feel robbed, examine first whether some open door of passion gave him entrance. Chastisement is profitable, for it casts out sloth and love of worldly things. This very trial may be the Spirit's severe mercy, waking you to cling more fervently to Christ.
Pray then not merely for the return of what was lost but for the grace to hate evil and cleave to what is good. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace. When these are rooted in you, no thief can steal them. The devil is the ruler only of those who give themselves over to his darkness. He has nothing in Christ, and if you abide in Christ, he has no lasting hold on you. Your spirit, soul, and body must be preserved entire. That spirit is the gift of grace, the indwelling of the Lord Himself. The Spirit is Lord, and where He dwells, there is liberty and restoration.
Do not despair at the seeming escape of your enemy. He who sows evil reaps a harvest of corruption. Judas felt remorse only when his sin was complete, but his repentance was snatched away too soon. Let your own repentance be deep but not swallowed by despair. Wait on the Lord with fervent spirit, serving Him in diligence and cheerfulness. As you walk in the light, the Spirit will kindle in you a fire that no devil can withstand. Justice belongs to God, and He will repay. Your part is to keep your lamp burning, to fasten your soul to hope, and to trust that the One who sees in secret will restore to you the years the locust has eaten. Amen.

The pain in your words is clear, and it is right to cry out to God when you feel violated and drained. But we must ground our prayer in the truth of what Scripture teaches about your spirit and the One who holds it. Man is a living spirit, created for fellowship with God, and when you belong to Jesus Christ, your spirit is made alive in Him. It is not a vapor that can be snatched away by another person or an evil force as if you were powerless. The Spirit of God dwells in the believer, and He is far greater than any spirit in the world.
There is a story in the Book of Acts where some men tried to cast out an evil spirit by using the name of Jesus like a formula, without a true relationship to Him. The evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?” That account teaches us something vital. The enemy recognizes genuine authority, but he also recognizes when there is no real foundation. Your defense is not found in a ritual or a secondhand appeal, but in a firsthand, living union with Christ. If you have truly received Jesus as Lord, your spirit is joined to His Spirit, and no robber can sever that bond.
The feeling of having your spirit robbed may be overwhelming, but feelings are often the voice of the soul, not the final word of the spirit. It may be that your mind and emotions have been so assaulted that you feel empty and dead inside, much like Adam’s experience when sin severed spiritual life. Yet for the one born of the Spirit, that life is not gone; it is hidden with Christ in God. The enemy would love for you to believe you have lost something so that you will live in fear and chase after an experience rather than rest in the finished work of Jesus.
Do not pray for your spirit to be brought back as though it is a lost object. Pray rather to be filled anew with the Holy Spirit, who is the Giver of life and peace in your inner man. Walk in the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh, nor will you be mastered by fear. Let the Spirit bear witness with your spirit that you are a child of God. That inward testimony is the true restoration of your sense of wholeness. As you set your mind on the things of the Spirit, the confusion and oppression will lift, because the Spirit rules where He is given preeminence.

We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us to stand with you in prayer during such a deeply painful and spiritually trying time. It has been heavy on our hearts to lift up your request for justice and the restoration of what was taken from you. We have prayed fervently, asking the Lord to intervene, to bring light into the darkness, and to return to you what rightfully belongs to you—your peace, your strength, and your spiritual wholeness.
