Prayer for healing

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for this new day, thank you for a song that comforts even with the itch and swollen hand. I surrender the issue to you before I go to see the doctor. I ask for your healing hand to heal the itch and swell to subside in Jesus' name. Skin to be restored in Jesus' name. I pray for healing to take place in my husband's body. I surrender that to you. Restore strength, renewed mind and renewed joy. And areas of this body that needs healing in Jesus' name while he takes the prescribed medicine everyday. Thank you Lord as we submit this new day into hands may you watch our coming in and going out. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We join you in thanking our Heavenly Father for this new day and for the comfort He gives even in the midst of discomfort, and we lift up your prayer for healing with you in Jesus' name. We are encouraged by your heart of surrender as you bring your swollen and itching hand before the Lord before you see the doctor, and as you intercede for your husband. It is beautiful to see you honoring your marriage as you pray for his body, his strength, and his joy, for marriage is a holy covenant blessed by God and we thank Him for your faithfulness to lift up your husband in prayer.

We agree with you for the Lord's healing hand to touch your skin, to cause the itching to cease and the swelling to subside and for your skin to be fully restored. We also agree for complete healing and renewed strength for your husband as he faithfully takes his prescribed medicine each day. We trust that God is our healer and that He can work both through His direct touch and through the wisdom He gives to doctors and medicine. As it is written, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3, and But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also remember the promise For I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26 and that by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5.

We pray together now, Father, we thank You for this dear sister and for her husband, for the new day You have given and for the song that has comforted her. In the name of Jesus we ask You to lay Your healing hand upon her hand, relieve the itch, reduce the swelling, and restore her skin to wholeness. Give wisdom and discernment to the doctor she will see and guide every decision for her care. We also lift up her husband to You, Lord, touch every area of his body that needs healing, restore his strength, renew his mind, and fill him with Your joy and peace as he continues his daily medicine. May Your healing power work in him and sustain him. We thank You that You watch over our coming in and going out, for Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forward and forevermore Psalm 121:8. Let this day be submitted into Your hands and let Your will be done in both of their bodies for Your glory. We ask all of this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to rest in His peace as you wait on Him, trusting Him with both the seen and unseen needs, and to continue to give thanks in all things. Is any among you sick Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:14-15. Keep bringing every concern to Him, for He cares for you and He hears the prayers offered in the name of His Son.

We are grateful you shared your heart with us today. To thank God for a new day and for a song that brings comfort even while your hand is itchy and swollen shows real trust, and we join you in that thankfulness.

We also appreciate how you are holding both your own need and your husband's before the Lord. It is good you have an appointment to have your hand seen, and that your husband is taking his prescribed medicine each day. We encourage you to keep that appointment and to continue following your doctor's guidance for both of you, even as we keep praying.

Waiting for swelling to go down and skin to heal can be discouraging, and carrying concern for a spouse at the same time is a lot. We are praying for steadiness for you both today.

Father, thank You for this day and for the comfort You have already given through song. We ask for Your healing touch on her hand, that the itching would ease and the swelling would subside and skin be restored according to Your will. We lift her husband to You as well, asking for strength, a renewed mind and renewed joy, and healing in the areas of his body that need it as he continues his medicine. Watch over their coming in and going out today and give wisdom to their doctors. In Jesus' name, amen.

Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. How gracious is our Lord to give you a song in the midst of discomfort, and to teach you to surrender your body to His care before you go to see the physician. We join you in thanksgiving for this new day and for that comfort, and we bring your requests before the throne of grace.

You have done well to commit your swollen hand and your skin to Him who is our healing. Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and we are taught that the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only His great work upon the cross, but even as it were the leaves about Him are full of healing virtue. That healing flows down from our great Head like abundant streams to those below. What the physician can do is as an instrument in His hand, but the healing itself comes from the Lord. Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention it to a doctor, for He is ready to hear it all and to consider it.

We pray with you now that His healing hand would rest upon you, that the itching would be eased and the swelling would subside, and that your skin would be restored. May the Lord who heals the broken heart and binds up wounds also touch your body and make you whole according to His wise and loving will. And we remember that pardon and healing are joined together in Christ. When Jesus healed the sick He said, your sins are forgiven you, to show that His salvation heals both soul and body. May you know that full healing virtue which changes the life blood and makes the nature new.

We also lift up your husband to the Lord. We ask that the Lord would restore strength to his body, renew his mind, and restore to him joy, even as he takes his prescribed medicine each day. We thank God for the means He has provided through medicine, and we pray that He would bless those means to the good of your husband's health. The Lord has begun a good work of healing and that healing virtue which His grace has infused will work health and cure till His purposes are perfected.

You have prayed that He would watch over your coming in and going out as you submit this day into His hands, and we echo that prayer. May He keep you both this day, guide the hands of the doctor, and let you feel that you are under the shadow of His wings, where there is healing. May Calvary be your healing balm, and may faith come as you hear His Word and trust His power to heal.

We commit you both to Him who bears with Him power to heal and who delights to recover His people by His power. In Jesus name, Amen.
