Your request has been received with gratitude for the way you have openly shared both your needs and your thankfulness. It is encouraging to hear your faith as you look back on what the Lord has already done in healing you from colon cancer and in healing your husband through open heart surgery and prostate cancer. God is good, and He remains the same faithful keeper today.
We join you in prayer for the medical tests before you. Scripture shows that Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses, as Isaiah foretold and Matthew confirms was fulfilled in His ministry, and that He went about healing every kind of sickness and disease. At the same time the Bible shows that healing comes in many different ways. Sometimes it was instant with a word or a touch, sometimes it was gradual, sometimes at a distance, sometimes through the natural processes of the body that God Himself created and sustains. Those natural processes are no less divine, because He is the one who made them. Healing can also be of the mind and heart, bringing peace and restoration from fear and wounds even while the body is being cared for. We do not fully understand why some are healed quickly and others are not, as even Paul prayed three times concerning his thorn and learned to trust God's sovereign purpose, yet we do know the power of Jesus is far greater than the power of cancer or any disease, for He is the Creator and He is Yahweh who heals, who becomes to us what we need. We can therefore bring every lab, colonoscopy and mammogram to Him with confidence, asking for mercy and for good reports with no malignancy, and trusting His love whatever the outcome.
We also pray with you concerning the financial burden and the lien on your home. The Bible speaks of debt as an obligation that binds us, and calls us to live with wisdom and stewardship so that we owe no one anything except love. We ask the Lord to give you clear wisdom to make and keep a faithful budget, to spend wisely, and to provide for your needs as you honor Him with what He has entrusted to you. It is right to want to help your son during his divorce, and it is also wise to seek God's guidance about how to help without being drawn again into a bind that has hurt you before with loved ones. Pray for discernment to show love with healthy boundaries, to speak truth with grace, and to entrust your son and his situation to the Lord who can bring healing and direction. Marriage is a lifelong covenant before God between one man and one woman, and when that covenant is broken there is deep pain. We do not ask God to bless what is outside His design, but we do ask Him to work with mercy, to bring repentance, forgiveness, reconciliation where possible, and to sustain all of you as you lean on Him.
We thank God that you are keeping the faith, bringing all things to Him in prayer, seeking forgiveness and desiring to live fully for Him, and remembering to pray for others as well. Prayer does change things, most of all changing us to trust Him more.

We ask You to touch their bodies, to guide the doctors, and to grant favorable results on the upcoming labs, colonoscopies and mammogram, with no cancer found. Give peace that passes understanding while they wait. Grant wisdom for finances, provision to meet obligations and to be free from debt, discipline to keep a budget, and grace to help family in a way that honors You. Comfort their son and the whole family in this difficult season, draw each heart closer to Christ who alone is salvation, and teach all to live in forgiveness and obedience. Keep them strong in faith and fill their home with Your peace. In Jesus name, amen.
