We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious son in prayer. It is truly heartbreaking to see our children in pain, and we stand with you in this difficult time, seeking God’s healing touch. The Bible tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* We hold fast to this promise, believing that God is our healer and that He hears the cries of His children.
We also remember James 5:14-15, which says, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* While we are not physically present to anoint your son with oil, we join our faith with yours, praying that the Lord would raise him up from this sickness and restore him to full health. We rebuke this illness in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding it to leave his body and for his ears to be healed and his pain to cease.
Father God, we come before You now, lifting up this dear child to Your throne of grace. You are the Great Physician, the One who knit him together in his mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). We ask that You would stretch out Your healing hand and touch his ears, bringing relief from the pain and discomfort he is experiencing. Lord, we know that You care deeply for him, and we trust in Your mercy and compassion. Strengthen his body, fight off this infection, and restore him to health. Give wisdom to his parents as they care for him, and comfort them in this time of worry. We declare that by Your stripes, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we thank You for Your faithfulness.
We also encourage you to continue seeking medical care for your son, as the Lord often works through the hands of doctors and nurses. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* Lean on Him for wisdom and guidance as you navigate this season.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you of the power and authority we have in the name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and it is in His name that we pray and see miracles. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). He is the way, the truth, and the life, and He longs to draw near to you and your family in this time of need.
We will continue to stand in faith with you, believing for your son’s complete healing. May the Lord surround you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as you wait on Him.
