We hear the pain in your heart and we join with you in prayer, lifting you up before our loving Father in Jesus' name. We know how heavy it feels to believe you are worthless, to feel far from the Lord, to feel that no one cares, and to see your life as a complete mess, yet we want you to know that these feelings do not reflect the truth of who you are in Christ.
You are not worthless. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, and your worth is not measured by physical appearance or by circumstances. Psalm 139:14 says you are fearfully and wonderfully made, and Ephesians 2:10 says you are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works. Your value comes from being created and deeply loved by God, and Isaiah 43:4 says you are precious in his sight. When you feel that no one cares, we cling to the promise of 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you, and Psalm 34:18 that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
When you feel so far from Jesus, we are reminded of his promise in James 4:8 to draw near to God, and he will draw near to you, and Romans 8:38-39 that nothing can separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Even when we feel distant, He has not moved away from us. He is ready to heal the broken places of your life. Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, and Jeremiah 30:17 declares I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh.
We also hear your desire for children and we know this is a beautiful and God given desire, for Psalm 127:3 says children are a heritage of Yahweh, and the fruit of the womb is his reward. We pray that God will fulfill this desire in His perfect time and in His perfect way, within the sanctity of marriage as He designed it to be a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman. If you are not yet married, we pray that God will lead you to a godly spouse, a fellow believer with whom you can build a Christ centered marriage, and that any courtship would be marked by purity and honor to God. If you are married, we pray for His blessing upon your marriage and your womb.
We hear your prayer for purity and for your life to get back on track, and we affirm that this is the will of God for you. 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4 says this is the will of God, your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 reminds us to flee sexual immorality and to honor God with our bodies, for we are temples of the Holy Spirit. True purity of heart and life comes only through Jesus, and Psalm 51:10 is our prayer for you, Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me. God is able to make your life new and to guide your steps, for Jeremiah 29:11 says I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future, and Romans 8:28 assures us that all things work together for good for those who love God.
We pray together for you now.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You for our dear one who feels worthless, distant, alone, and overwhelmed. Lord, forgive us where we have believed lies about ourselves instead of Your truth, and wash us clean by the blood of Jesus. Draw this precious soul close to You, let Your presence be felt in a powerful way, and let the knowledge of Your unfailing love cast out all fear and loneliness. Heal every wound in body, mind, and spirit, and restore what feels broken and messy. Create a clean heart and renew a right spirit, and give strength to walk in purity and holiness before You. We ask You to set this life back on the path of Your will, to give wisdom, hope, and direction for each step forward. And Father, You know the deep longing for children, we place that desire in Your hands, and we ask that You would bless with a godly marriage that honors You and, in Your perfect timing, with children according to Your will. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask all this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, amen.
