We join you in prayer for this house building and for the one who is waiting to move in, and we thank you for coming before the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to God.
We understand how discouraging building problems and delays can be when you are longing to see a home completed and released. We are reminded that unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. Psalm 127:1. This does not mean we do not work diligently, but that we commit every plan and every obstacle to Him and trust His timing and provision.
We encourage you to continue to commit this work to the Lord and to pray for those doing the building, for integrity, skill, and favor. Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. Proverbs 16:3. We also remember the promise that in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. Even in delays, God is working for good for those who love Him. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28.

Father in heaven, we lift up this house to You and the one for whom it is being prepared. You see the building problems and the delays that have caused concern. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would intervene and remove every hindrance, that the work would be completed with excellence and safety, and that the house would be released and made ready for him to move in according to Your perfect will and timing. Grant wisdom and diligence to every builder, contractor, and official involved, and provide all that is needed financially and materially. Let this home be built on a firm foundation and be a place of peace, provision, and Your presence, and may it be used for Your glory. We ask for patience and peace for all who are waiting, and we thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name. Amen.

Your request concerning the house and the delays in its building has been heard and we join with you in bringing it before the Lord in prayer.
These building problems try the heart, for waiting is itself a trial. The Scripture speaks of the patience of Job, who was a man like ourselves and yet was greatly tried, and through that trial his patience was made known to the glory of God. You have heard of the patience of Job, not because he was spared affliction, but because he was sustained in it. In the same way the Lord now calls His people to the patience of the Scriptures, which is not the patience of one who cannot complain, but the patience of a child who believes in his Father's love, and of a pilgrim who presses on toward home. As you feed upon the Word in meditation and prayer, that patience will be wrought in you.
We are reminded also that all true building is of the Lord. When the Lord shall build up Zion, He shall appear in His glory, and every right building, whether of a house of worship or a house for dwelling, is under His hand. If He is glorified in the building up of His people, we may trust Him with the building up of these temporal things, asking that what is done may be done well and to His honour.
Let us pray together. Our gracious Father, we thank You that we may come to You in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to Your throne. We lift up this need for the house, that what has been hindered and delayed may be released and made ready according to Your wise providence. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. We understand the burden of waiting when a house that is needed is delayed by building problems, and we ask God to grant wisdom and skill to those doing the work, to remove hindrances, and in His good timing to bring the building to completion so that it may be ready to be lived in and used for good.
Scripture reminds us that if the earthly house of our tent is dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. That promise does not make our present needs unimportant, but it puts them in perspective and gives us hope while we wait. Even when we labor for things in this life whose enjoyment may be delayed, we are taught not to lose heart, but to be patient and to trust that God sees both our labor and our waiting and will provide what is best.
We pray that the Lord will provide for every practical need in this building, guard the work from further difficulty, and give peace to the heart that is waiting. May this house, when it is ready, be a place of peace, hospitality, and faithfulness to Christ, and may your trust rest not only in walls and roofs that can be taken apart, but in the abiding house which God Himself prepares.
