We lift this dear one before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, who heals all our diseases and carries our infirmities. We declare that by His stripes, this beloved one is healed, for Your Word assures us in Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."
Lord, we ask that You would indeed heal every infection in his body, driving out sickness and disease by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Strengthen his body, restore his vitality, and renew his energy according to Your promise in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus' name, for Your Word declares in Luke 10:19, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you."
Father, we also pray for peace to flood his mind and heart. Calm every anxious thought and replace fear with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Grant him deep and restful sleep, for You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). Surround him with Your angels, Lord, and let Your presence be a shield around him, as it is written in Psalm 91:11, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."
We also take a moment to address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You, Father. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If this dear one or anyone praying for him does not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we pray that they would turn to Him in repentance and faith. For it is written in Romans 10:9, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
We declare that this one is not alone in his struggle, for You are with him, and we stand in agreement for his complete healing and restoration. Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to Your promises. We trust in You, knowing that all things are possible for those who believe (Mark 9:23). In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
