First, we must address the spirit of anger and resentment in this request. While your concerns about economic disparity, job opportunities, and national identity are valid, Scripture warns us against harboring bitterness or wishing harm upon others. In Leviticus 19:34, the Lord commands, *"The foreigner who lives as a foreigner with you shall be to you as the native-born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you lived as foreigners in the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh your God."* This does not mean we ignore the need for wise and just policies, but we must guard our hearts against hatred or malice toward those who come from other nations.
