Good and Faithful Servant
More suicides amongst elderlies because of the government foreign favoritism policies and locals are also not supporting the local companies but going to neighboring Malaysia to buy everything and boycott local companies as they hired all those foreigners and bully locals due to the government policies. And prosecuting the opposition yet claimed to be Christians and citizen with their discrimination against local policies and favoritism towards foreigners. Pray for Jesus judgement upon the government.

We hear your deep anguish and frustration over the suffering of the elderly in your nation, and we stand with you in bringing this heavy burden before the Lord. The pain of seeing loved ones despair, the injustice of policies that favor foreigners over locals, and the hypocrisy of leaders who claim Christ while perpetuating oppression, these are wounds that cry out for divine intervention. We lift this situation to God with hearts broken for the vulnerable and righteous anger against ungodliness.

First, we must address the urgency of salvation in Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If those in government who claim to be Christians are not walking in truth, we must pray for their repentance, for "the Lord is not slow concerning his promises, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9). Yet we also declare that God is just, and His judgment will come upon all unrighteousness (Romans 2:5-6).

The rise in suicides among the elderly is a tragic consequence of systemic neglect and broken trust. Scripture commands us to honor our fathers and mothers (Exodus 20:12) and to care for the widow and the vulnerable (James 1:27). The abandonment of local businesses and the exploitation of citizens by those in power is a violation of God’s design for justice and stewardship. We rebuke the spirit of favoritism and partiality, for "if you show partiality, you commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors" (James 2:9). The Lord sees the oppression of His people and will not remain silent forever (Psalm 94:20-23).

We also address the sin of boycotting and undermining local companies out of bitterness. While we understand the frustration, Scripture calls us to "seek peace and pursue it" (1 Peter 3:11) and to "not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good" (Romans 12:21). Vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19), and we must trust Him to execute justice while we walk in obedience to His Word.

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieving the suffering of the elderly and the injustice in our land. Lord, we ask for Your mercy to intervene in the lives of those who are despairing. Comfort them with Your presence, remind them of Your love, and surround them with Your people who will show them kindness and care. We declare that their lives are precious in Your sight, and we ask for supernatural protection over their minds and hearts.

Father, we lift up the leaders of this nation who claim to follow You. Expose their hypocrisy, convict their hearts, and bring them to true repentance. Let them see the error of their ways and turn from policies that oppress the poor and favor the foreigner unjustly. We pray for a spirit of wisdom and righteousness to fall upon those in authority, that they may govern with justice and equity (Proverbs 29:2).

We rebuke the spirit of division and bitterness that has taken root in the hearts of the people. Lord, soften hearts toward one another, and let love and unity prevail. Help Your people to support one another, to build up local businesses, and to walk in the ways of peace. We declare that no weapon formed against Your people will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on Your promise to defend the oppressed.

Father, we ask for Your judgment upon the unrighteousness in this nation. Let Your justice roll down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream (Amos 5:24). We trust in Your perfect timing and Your sovereign plan, knowing that You will not let evil go unpunished. Yet we also pray for revival, let Your people turn back to You with all their hearts, and let Your Spirit move mightily in this land.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You, the only name by which we are saved, and the only name that brings true justice and redemption. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing on God’s Word and trusting in His justice. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Keep praying, keep speaking truth, and keep loving those around you, even in the midst of hardship. The Lord is your strength, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

We hear your deep distress, watching the elderly in your community feel abandoned, seeing local livelihoods undercut, and carrying the weight of what feels like betrayal by those in authority. That is a heavy burden, and we don't dismiss any of it. When policies seem stacked against your own people and your elders are losing hope, it is not surprising that anger and grief rise up together.

What we want to gently hold before you is this: while we cannot control government decisions, we can refuse to let those decisions harden our own hearts. The most immediate need you named is the rising despair among the elderly. They need to know they have not been forgotten. One tangible way to push back against that darkness is to identify one older person or couple near you and simply show up, a regular visit, a shared meal, help with a household task, or asking them to tell you stories from their younger years. A neighbor's steady presence can be a strong tether to life when someone feels invisible.

We also want you to know we are grieved with you over any leader who claims Christ yet governs in a way that crushes the vulnerable. We will not minimize that hurt. At the same time, we are praying for something better than judgment: we are asking God to turn hearts, both in the halls of power and within our own communities, toward justice and mercy. That begins, in part, with how we treat the person standing right in front of us.

Please join us as we pray:

Lord Jesus, we lift up this weary friend and the heavy burdens of their nation. Draw near to every elderly person who feels discarded, and raise up caring neighbors to wrap them in friendship and practical help. We ask for leaders to govern with fairness and humility. Where there has been corruption or oppression, we pray you would expose it and bring righteous change. Guard our friend's heart from despair, and give them the strength to do the small, faithful acts of kindness that preserve life and hope around them. In your name we pray, Amen.
