Heavenly Father, Tonight, before I close my eyes, I place ### completely in Your hands. Hours have passed and I still haven’t heard from him, and You know how much my heart is worried. Lord, wherever ### is tonight, please protect him, cover him, and keep him safe. Please surround him with Your angels and guide him through whatever he may be facing. Let no harm come near him. Give him peace, strength, and comfort, and remind him that he is loved and cared for. Lord, please touch ###’s heart and mind and put it on him to reach out to his wife, ###, as soon as possible. Let him send a message or make contact so she can know that he is safe and okay. As I go to sleep tonight, I surrender my worry to You. Help me rest instead of allowing fear to consume my thoughts. You know where ### is when I cannot reach him, and You are able to watch over him while I sleep. Please let me wake up to good news and a message from him letting me know that he is okay. Tonight, I choose to trust You with what I cannot control. Protect ###. Protect his wife. Protect their hearts. And bring peace to this situation. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Goodnight, my heart. May God give you peaceful rest tonight and keep ### covered until morning.

We join you tonight in lifting this burden to the Lord and we thank you for placing your trust and your loved one's safety in His hands. We hear the worry in your heart as hours have passed without hearing from him, and we stand with you and with his wife in prayer for his protection and for peace over your hearts while you wait.

The Lord knows where he is when you cannot reach him, and He neither slumbers nor sleeps as He watches over His children. We are reminded of His promise when we are anxious, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:6-7. We also cling to the word that says Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 and He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. Psalm 121:3-4.

We honor marriage as God ordained it, a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, and we thank God for the love and concern shown for this husband and his wife. It is good and right to pray for their union to be strengthened and protected, and for communication and reassurance to be restored between them quickly.

We pray together with you now. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace. You see this husband wherever he is tonight, You know his steps and You know the reason for his silence. We ask You to encamp around him with Your angels as Your word promises The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. Psalm 34:7. Keep him safe from harm, give him wisdom and strength for whatever he is facing, and fill him with Your peace. Lord, we ask You to stir his heart to reach out to his wife as soon as possible, to let her know he is safe and to bring comfort to her worried heart. For both of them we ask for rest that only You can give, help them to surrender fear and to trust in You with all their heart. Prov 3:5-6. Let them wake to good news and to renewed contact, and let their marriage be covered by Your love and faithfulness. We thank You that we have access to You only through Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved and by which we can approach Your mercy. We place this husband, his wife, and all who love them completely in Your hands tonight, choosing to trust what we cannot control to the One who holds all things. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to rest tonight in that trust, continuing to commit them to the Lord in prayer and thanksgiving, believing that He is watching over them even while you sleep and that His peace will guard your heart until you hear good news.

We've been sitting with your prayer for tonight, and we hear the ache of waiting without an answer. Loving someone and not being able to reach him leaves a weight that is hard to set down, especially as night comes.

You did a tender and faithful thing in placing him and his wife in the Lord's hands and naming both your worry and your desire to rest. Trusting God with what you cannot control does not mean the worry disappears, it means you don't have to carry it alone through the night.

It may help to share this waiting with one other trusted person tonight so you are not holding it by yourself, keep your phone nearby, and allow yourself to rest. If the silence continues and your concern for his safety grows, reaching out calmly to family, a close friend of his, or appropriate local help in the morning is a reasonable next step.

Father, we lift to You tonight wherever he is, asking for Your protection and peace over him. We lift his wife and the one who wrote this prayer, asking You to guard their hearts, quiet fear, and grant restful sleep. Lead toward a safe reconnection in Your timing and give wisdom for what to do next. In Jesus' name, amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your prayer has come before the Lord and before His people, and we join our hearts with yours in this night of waiting and watching.

To be afraid is a childish thing, and yet it is a very real palsy of the soul. The Psalmist who as a youth went in simple confidence in God to meet the giant, yet knew what it was to say, What time I am afraid, I will trust in Thee. When fear lays hold upon you, lay hold upon the Strong One and get strength from Him, and so your fears shall be cast out. You cannot watch over him whom you love while you sleep, but God can. He neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He is able to keep in perfect safety those whom you must leave in His hands.

Learn also what it is to wait only upon God. My soul, wait thou only upon God, for my expectation is from Him. There is a waiting God who waits to be gracious, who has long waited that He might have mercy upon you. All things are ready in Christ, and He waits for the sinner to come and for the saint to trust. Cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you, and make it your great concern to love and serve Him, and you need care for nothing else at all.

You ask for peace, and there are two kinds of peace. There is a false peace which says peace and safety while the soul is still at war with God, and that peace will deceive and at last destroy. But there is the peace of God which passes all understanding, which shall keep your hearts and minds by Jesus Christ. He is the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, and who has made peace by the blood of His cross. He is our peace, the restorer and preserver of peace, and He can speak to every wind that blows across your soul and say, Peace, be still. Holiness is peace, and to be at peace with God through faith in His Son is to have a guard set about the heart that the world cannot give and cannot take away.

We will pray for you and for your husband, and for the covenant bond which God has joined together.

Our Father in heaven, Thou art the God of peace, and Thou hast made peace for us by the precious blood of Thy Son. We bring this wife and her husband before Thee tonight. Wherever he is, Thou knowest and Thou seest. Cover him, keep him from harm, surround him with Thy care, and guide him through whatever trial he faces. Give him strength and comfort and bring him safely to reach out to his wife, that her heart may be eased. And for her who waits, we ask the peace which passes all understanding to keep her heart and mind. Help her to surrender worry and to trust what she cannot control to Thy faithful hands. Let her rest not in what she feels or sees, but in Thee alone, and wake, if it be Thy will, to good news. Preserve them both, and preserve their hearts in love and faithfulness to Thee and to one another. All this we ask in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our peace. Amen.

We have heard your prayer and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who never sleeps and who watches over all His children.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we lift up this husband to You. You know where he is tonight when his wife cannot reach him. We ask that You keep him safe from harm, surround him with Your protection, and guide him through whatever he is facing. Grant him peace and strength and bring him home in safety.

Lord, we also lift up his wife who waits and worries. You see her anxious heart. We ask that You calm her fears and help her to cast all her anxiety on You because You care for her. Help her to rest tonight and to trust what she cannot control into Your faithful hands. Guard her heart and mind with Your peace that passes understanding.

Father, we thank You that marriage is a holy covenant bound before You, and we pray that You would strengthen the bond between this husband and wife. Move upon his heart to reach out to his wife soon, so that she may know he is safe and be comforted. Restore communication between them and let their home be built up in good order, peace and love.

We entrust them both to Your care tonight. Watch over them while they sleep and let them wake to Your mercy and to good news. We ask this in the saving name of Jesus Christ, our only hope. Amen.
