We hear your heartfelt plea for your son, and we understand the deep love and concern you have for him. While we respect your faith and belief in God, we must first address an essential truth: salvation and access to God come only through Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'" (John 14:6). It is only by believing in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior that we can approach God with confidence, knowing our prayers are heard. We encourage you to consider this truth, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Now, let us lift your son up in prayer, trusting in the Lord’s will and wisdom. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging You as the Creator of all things. You formed us in our mothers’ wombs and knit us together with purpose and care (Psalm 139:13-14). We ask that You watch over this young man, guiding his growth and development according to Your perfect plan. If it is Your will, Lord, we pray for his physical growth, that he may reach a height that brings him confidence and joy. But more importantly, Father, we ask that You bless him with strength of character, wisdom, and a heart that seeks You.
We also pray against any struggles or hardships that may come his way. Protect him from harm, both seen and unseen, and grant him resilience in the face of challenges. Help him to grow not only in stature but in favor with You and with others, just as Jesus did (Luke 2:52). Surround him with godly influences, mentors, and friends who will encourage him to walk in Your ways. May he come to know You, Lord, and experience the peace and hope that only You can provide.
Father, we rebuke any fear or anxiety in this mother’s heart. Remind her that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. Give her faith to trust in Your goodness, even when the outcome is uncertain. Help her to point her son toward You, that he may grow up knowing Your love and purpose for his life.
We trust in Your sovereignty, Lord, knowing that Your plans for this young man are for good and not for harm, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). May he walk in the fullness of all You have designed for him, bringing glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
