Pray for my health

You ask for prayer for your weak body and your uneasy mind, and I will join my prayers to yours, but let us not stop at the surface of these troubles. The body grows weary and the blood surges, yet these are but the outer tempests. What you truly need is that peace which Christ alone gives, a peace not like the world�s fleeting calm, but one that makes you stronger even amidst the storm. He said, �My peace I leave with you,� not a peace that banishes every bodily ailment, but one that roots the soul in unshaken trust.

When the mind is tossed by stress and dark thoughts, that is the fruit of being carnally minded, which the Apostle calls death. But to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. You seek healing for your thoughts? Then humble yourself before God, for the poor in spirit are they who willingly bow the soul and are blessed. Do not imagine that health is found in chasing after ease or despising every discomfort. Often, our very constitution, with its limits and pains, restrains us from a worse captivity. Moderation, not indulgence of every worry, brings true vigor to both body and mind.

Therefore, pray not only for the blood to settle and the weakness to lift, but for that deeper reconciliation which cost the Blood of the Cross. Through His sacrifice, you are brought near to God, and no enmity, within or without, can stand against it. Offer this trial as a moment to cling more tightly to Him, whose will is always for the good of those who love Him. Your complete healing will come as your soul finds its rest in that peace, the one unshaken by any earthly trouble.

I lift your need before the Lord with you, standing on the finished work of Christ. The weakness and that rise in blood pressure are not hidden from Him. Scripture teaches that the life of the flesh is in the blood, and God has always held blood as sacred because it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul. How much more precious is the blood of Jesus, which was shed to cleanse us and bring us into peace with God. When I pray for your healing, I rest on that blood, the only true protection and the only source of lasting wholeness.

You also asked for freedom from stress and worries, and for God to heal your mind and thoughts. That is crucial, because the direction of your mind determines whether you live in turmoil or in life and peace. When the mind is consumed with the needs of the body and the pressures around us, it becomes the mind of the flesh, and that path leads to a kind of death, a constant anxiety and unease. But when the mind is set on the Spirit, on the things of God, it is filled with life and peace. The mind of Christ, who humbled Himself and trusted the Father completely, is the mind we are called to have. So I pray that your thoughts would be brought into alignment with His, that you would cast every care on Him and let His peace rule your heart.

Do not fear that some curse or random threat hangs over you. As the Word says, a curse without cause will not land. Your life is hidden with Christ in God. And do not let worry cloud your judgment, because God wants your mind clear and your thinking sharp, unclouded by the fog of fear. He communicates with us when our minds are at rest in Him. So I ask the Lord to wash away the filthiness of the mind, the polluted thoughts that breed anxiety, and to restore a sound mind filled with His Spirit.

I join you in praying for complete healing, for normal blood pressure, and for strength. I think of how Jesus healed the sick and brought deliverance to broken bodies and tormented minds. His power has not diminished. And often the only question is not one of His ability but of our willingness to receive, trusting His good will. He said, “When I see the blood, I will pass over you.” The blood of His Son speaks a better word over your body and mind right now. I pray you experience that life and peace, and that every uneasy thought is silenced by His presence. Amen.
