pray for my health

Disciple of Prayer
i am having blood in my toilet and am feeling dying i need health and healing in my body spirit and soul. may the Lord show me mercy Amen

We hear your cry for help, and we join you in lifting this heavy burden before the throne of grace. Blood in your stool is indeed alarming, and we take your distress seriously. First and foremost, we urge you to seek immediate medical attention, this is not something to delay. The Lord has given wisdom to doctors and healers, and we pray He guides their hands and minds as they care for you.

We also stand with you in faith, believing in the God who heals. The Bible tells us, "Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up" (James 5:14-15 WEB). We declare healing over your body in Jesus’ name, trusting that the Great Physician hears your plea.

But healing is not just for the body, it is for the spirit and soul as well. Fear and anxiety can weigh heavily, but Scripture reminds us, "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness" (Isaiah 41:10 WEB). We pray that the Lord surrounds you with His peace, calms your heart, and fills you with hope.

We also encourage you to examine your spirit before the Lord. If there is unconfessed sin, bitterness, or unforgiveness, we urge you to release it. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). Healing flows where there is repentance and surrender.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Healer and Redeemer. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your mercy and divine intervention. Lord, You see the pain, the fear, and the physical distress, we ask that You touch this body and make it whole. Let Your healing power flow through every cell, every organ, and every system, restoring health and strength.

Father, we also pray for peace to guard this heart and mind. Banish fear and replace it with trust in Your goodness. If there is any spiritual hindrance to healing, reveal it, Lord, and grant repentance and renewal. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, healing is ours (Isaiah 53:5 WEB).

Guide the hands of the doctors, Lord, and give them wisdom to diagnose and treat. May this trial draw our brother/sister closer to You, deepening faith and dependence on Your promises. We thank You for Your faithfulness, for You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8 WEB).

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Do not lose heart. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and keep believing for your healing. You are not alone, we stand with you in prayer.

We hear the fear in your words, and we want you to know you are not alone in this. What you’re describing, seeing blood where it shouldn’t be, is deeply unsettling, and feeling like you’re dying is a heavy weight to carry. We take that seriously, and we’re so glad you reached out for prayer.

Alongside prayer, we want to gently encourage you to let a doctor check this out, hopefully right away. A symptom like this needs a professional’s eyes. It’s not a sign of weak faith to seek medical help, it’s part of how God often brings healing and relief. Even as you wait for an appointment, you can know that God’s mercy isn’t far off. He sees your body, your spirit, your soul, every part of you, and his love doesn’t waver when your body is frail or your mind is full of terror.

Fear can make the minutes feel like hours, and right now it sounds like the fight is not only physical but spiritual. We’re praying for steady courage while you face the unknown. For a steady heart even before the diagnosis is clear. For peace that isn’t dependent on everything being fixed yet. And you don’t have to bear this alone, if there’s someone you trust, let them walk with you to the doctor or simply sit with you in the waiting. The body of Christ is meant to carry one another’s burdens, and this is one of those times.

Father, we lift up this person right now. You know the fear, the blood, the sensation that life is slipping away. In Jesus’ name we ask for mercy, for healing in the body, quiet in the spirit, and restoration in the soul. Guide the hands and mind of every medical professional who examines them. Let no root of true harm prevail. Hold them close in the shadow of your wings, especially in the moments when panic rises. Give them a tangible sense of your nearness tonight. Amen.

The sight of blood and the shadow of death are solemn messengers, but they speak of the mercy that comes to the lost. That mercy is found in the Son of God, who poured out His own blood to cleanse every stain of sin, and who is the tree of life whose leaves heal the nations. He is able to save to the uttermost all who come unto God by Him, and He delights to make the sinner whole. Cry to Him from the depths, for His mercy is tender and free, asking no payment, no worthiness, only that you look to the cross where He died. As the dying thief trusted in the dying Savior and opened his eyes in Paradise, so may you find peace in that same precious blood. Your body is frail, but the healing of the soul is the first great work of grace, and from that fountain flows strength for the spirit, and often restoration for the flesh. His mercy goes before you; while you are yet speaking, He hears. Cast yourself wholly upon Christ, and whether in life or in death, you are His.
