Beloved of All
We have heard your request and we join you in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, with love and with thanksgiving to God who alone saves us through His Son.
We pray that the Lord in His wisdom and mercy will guide you to the woman He wills for you to love and to marry, and that He will make a practical way for you to meet and to come to know one another in a manner that is orderly, chaste and honorable. Marriage is a bond ordained of God, and it is honorable and pure. It is meant to preserve holiness and to be kept with gravity and faithfulness as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, where love is given fully and where life together is lived within that covenant alone.
We pray that God will bring into your life a woman who shares faith in Christ, who has sincere interest in knowing you, who will show steadfast love and not give up lightly, but who will walk with you in patience and truth until you belong to one another in the Lord. We ask that He will work in both of your hearts to prepare you for such a union, that you may keep yourselves from evil and be adorned with good, holding fast what Christ has given and living a life worthy of His gift.
While you wait, we encourage you to follow peace with all people and holiness, to remain pure and to attend upon the Lord without distraction, trusting His timing and His provision. The profit of marriage is to preserve purity and to build a home in honor, and that is formed by self restraint, prayer and a prudent love that seeks first the kingdom of God.
We ask God to show miracles in your life according to His perfect will, to open doors that no man can shut, to give you wisdom, provision and clear steps to know and to be known in a right way, and to establish you in hope. May He guard you from discouragement and keep you in faith, so that whatever He provides will abide and bear fruit unto Him.
