We join with you in prayer for this desire of your heart for marriage and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 and Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved Romans 10:13.

We rejoice that your request honors God by seeking marriage as He designed it, a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman. We pray for a godly wife for you, not simply a woman to love, but a Christian believer who will be your helpmate and with whom you can build a Christ centered marriage. Yahweh God said, It is not good that the man should be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him Genesis 2:18 and Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh Proverbs 18:22. We pray that you will seek first Gods Kingdom, and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33, trusting that as you delight yourself in Yahweh, he will give you the desires of your heart Psalm 37:4 in His perfect timing.

We encourage you as you wait to be preparing yourself to be the godly husband God calls you to be, one who will love his wife even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it Ephesians 5:25. We encourage you to pursue courtship with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer, for Dont be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity 2 Corinthians 6:14. And we gently remind you that any courtship must remain pure, for Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers Hebrews 13:4. Sex before or outside of marriage is fornication and not Gods will, and we pray your future relationship will be kept holy and honoring to Him from the beginning.

We now pray together for you. Father in heaven, we lift up our brother to You in the name of Jesus. We ask that You lead him to the woman You have chosen for him to love and to marry, and that You make it possible in very practical ways for them to meet and to get to know each other according to Your will. We pray You send a woman who truly has interest in him, who is faithful and will not give up, and that You knit their hearts together in godly love that perseveres until they belong to one another in holy marriage. Lord we ask for Your miracles to be evident in his life, opening doors that no man can shut and guiding his steps. Help him to wait patiently, to grow in faith and character, and to trust Your timing which is perfect. We pray he and his future wife will keep themselves pure and honor You in their courtship. We have received your request and we join you in prayer before the throne of grace, asking in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who alone is the way of salvation.

It is a good and holy desire you express, for marriage is not a less sacred thing than any other calling of God, but is honourable in all and ordained by Him from the beginning as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, wherein the two become one. We pray that you would first be found seeking Christ Himself with your whole heart, for he who has found Christ has found the greatest treasure, and out of that fullness he is made fit to love a wife as Christ loved the Church. Though He may try your patience in the waiting, we exhort you to trust Him still, and to say with Job, Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him.

We pray for you, that our gracious Father who knows your need will in His perfect time and providence bring into your life a godly woman, one who loves the Lord Jesus sincerely and will walk with you in faith. We ask the Lord to make the way plain in practical and holy ways to meet and to come to know one another, as befits those who would keep themselves pure, reserving the intimacies of love and of dwelling together for the covenant of marriage alone. We ask that He would give you both a steadfast and patient love that does not lightly give up, but perseveres in kindness, truth and prayer, and that He would make you such a husband as will also not give up in loving, cherishing and leading as Christ does His people.

Your prayer has been heard and we join with you in bringing it before God in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and hope of salvation.

We thank you for your desire for marriage as God has ordained it. Scripture teaches that marriage is honorable and is a bond ordained of God, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman. It is not itself holiness, but it preserves holiness when lived in chastity and order, keeping the bed pure and guarding the grace that comes through faith. The profit of marriage is to preserve the body pure and to live in love with reverence and faithfulness, as Christ loves the Church. For this reason we encourage you while you wait to remain pure, to live in a sober and orderly way, and to use this time to grow in good works and in devotion to the Lord.

We pray for you now.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ your Son, we ask for your mercy and guidance for our brother. If it is your will for him to marry, lead him in your perfect time to the woman you have prepared for him, a woman who shares faith in Christ and who desires to know him and to build a household in holiness and love. Make it possible in practical ways for them to meet and to get to know one another with chasteness, gravity and order, with the presence of wise and reverent company and with hearts set on purity. Grant them both patience and steadfastness, that their love may be faithful and not easily given up, but enduring and committed as befits the covenant of marriage. Keep him from all impurity and from seeking to satisfy desire outside of marriage, and teach him to use all things with moderation. Work miracles in his life according to your wisdom and power, not only in providing a wife but in forming his character to be ready for that calling, that he may be found bringing forth fruit unto God. Continue in prayer and in a life worthy of the gift you have received. Seek first the kingdom of God, keep yourself from fornication, be diligent in prayer and in every good work, and trust that God who sees your desire will provide what is best in the way and time that is best.
