Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend who desires to have their first professional boxing match. Lord, we ask for your guidance and favor in this endeavor. We pray that you would open doors and provide opportunities for them to showcase their skills and talents in the boxing ring.
Lord, we know that you have given us the ability to pursue our passions and use our gifts for your glory. We ask that you grant our friend the strength, discipline, and perseverance needed to train and prepare for this match. Help them to stay focused and dedicated to their training, both physically and mentally.
Father, we also pray for protection and safety during the match. We ask that you surround our friend with your angels, guarding them from any harm or injury. Give them wisdom and discernment in their strategies and decisions, and let them compete with integrity and sportsmanship.
Above all, Lord, we pray that your will be done in this situation. If it is your plan for our friend to have this opportunity, we ask for your divine favor and success. If it is not your will, we trust in your perfect plan and ask for your peace and contentment in accepting your direction.
We claim the promise in 1 John 5:14-15, that if we ask anything according to your will, you hear us. We believe that you are a God who hears and answers prayers, and we thank you in advance for your faithfulness.
