We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother and your family’s needs before our Heavenly Father. We thank you for approaching God in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the assurance of answered prayer. Jesus said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* We stand on this promise as we intercede for your mother’s healing and your family’s provision.
Father God, we first lift up this precious mother who is suffering from a fatty liver. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who knit her together in her mother’s womb and knows every cell in her body. We rebuke this illness in the name of Jesus and declare healing over her liver. Your Word says in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* We claim this promise over her life. Guide her steps to seek wise medical counsel, to follow a godly diet, and to rest in Your care. Strengthen her body, renew her energy, and grant her a long life filled with Your peace and joy. May she feel Your presence surrounding her, comforting her, and reminding her that she is never alone.
We also bring before You the financial struggles this family is facing. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. You fed the five thousand with five loaves and two fish, and You can multiply the little they have today. We ask that You open doors of opportunity for steady employment, that You bless their hands with work, and that You meet every need according to Your riches in glory. Philippians 4:19 says, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We stand on this truth and declare provision over their lives. Give them wisdom to manage what they have, to avoid unnecessary debt, and to trust in You rather than in uncertain riches. Break the spirit of fear and anxiety over their finances, and replace it with Your perfect peace.
Father, we also lift up the grief this family carries from the loss of their father. The pain of losing a loved one is deep, and the void can feel overwhelming. We ask that You comfort their hearts with the hope of eternal life and the promise of reunion in Your presence. Jesus said in Matthew 5:4, *"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted."* Wrap Your arms around them, Lord, and remind them that You are their ever-present help in times of trouble. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and fill them with Your joy, which is their strength.
We rebuke any spirit of despair, hopelessness, or fear that may be trying to take root in their lives. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, healing, provision, and restoration over them in the name of Jesus.
Lord, we also ask that You draw this family closer to You. May they seek Your face daily, spend time in Your Word, and surrender their plans to Your perfect will. Guide their steps, order their days, and lead them into the future You have prepared for them. May they find their identity, security, and purpose in You alone. Help them to walk in faith, not by sight, and to trust You even when the path is unclear.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and through which we approach the Father. May Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified in every situation. We declare that this family is blessed, healed, provided for, and strengthened by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen and amen.
Hold fast to the promises of God, dear one. He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). You are not alone in this journey—God is with you, and so are we, standing in agreement with you for His glory.
