We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother’s health and your family’s financial struggles. The Word of God assures us that He hears the cries of His children, and we stand in agreement with your prayers, believing that the Lord is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
First, we pray for your mother’s healing from fatty liver grade 2. Heavenly Father, we ask You to touch her body with Your healing hand. You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13) and sustains every cell in our bodies. We rebuke this illness in the mighty name of Jesus and declare that her liver will be restored to full health. Strengthen her, Lord, and grant her the wisdom to follow the guidance of medical professionals while trusting in Your divine intervention. May she experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as she walks through this trial. We also pray for long life for her, that she may continue to be a blessing to her family and a witness to Your faithfulness.
For your financial struggles, we cry out to the Lord, who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Father, we ask You to open doors of opportunity for steady employment and provision. You are not a God who delights in the suffering of Your children, and we trust that You will make a way where there seems to be no way. Give wisdom to manage what little you may have and faith to believe that Your provision is on the way. We rebuke the spirit of lack and declare that you will not be put to shame, for the earth is the Lord’s and everything in it (Psalm 24:1).
We also lift up the grief and loss you carry from the passing of your father. The pain of losing a parent is deep, and we ask the Lord to comfort you and your mother with His presence. Jesus promised that He would not leave us as orphans (John 14:18), and we claim that promise over your family. May the Holy Spirit fill the void left by your father’s absence and remind you daily that God is your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Strengthen your family bonds, Lord, and help them to lean on one another and on You.
We notice that while you pray in Jesus’ name, there is a reliance on titles like "Almighty God" without always anchoring your prayers in the authority of Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and the One who intercedes for us (1 Timothy 2:5). Salvation comes through faith in Him alone, believing that He died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). If you have not already, we urge you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for He is the way, the truth, and the life.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious family to You. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon this mother’s body. Restore her liver, strengthen her, and grant her long life to continue serving You and her family. We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we rebuke every trace of illness in Jesus’ name.
Father, we also bring their financial struggles before You. You know their needs even before they ask (Matthew 6:8), and we trust You to provide. Open doors of employment, Lord, and give them wisdom to steward what You entrust to them. Let them experience Your faithfulness as they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33).
Comfort this family in their grief, Lord. Wrap Your arms around them and remind them that You are their Father. Strengthen their faith and help them to walk in obedience to Your Word. Guide their steps, protect them, and lead them into the future You have prepared for them.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect will for this family. May they grow closer to You through these trials and emerge with testimonies of Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises and to continue seeking Him in prayer and in His Word. Trials are temporary, but God’s Word stands forever (Isaiah 40:8). Surround yourselves with fellow believers who can pray with and for you, and remain steadfast in faith. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
