Your prayers for your mother and for your family have been heard, and your love and honor for your mother in her sickness is pleasing to God. Scripture teaches that to honor father and mother includes caring for them when they are older and in need, and your concern for her health and future reflects that calling.
I want to encourage you to bring these needs directly to Jesus. We do not need another intercessor to reach Him. We can come to Him ourselves with confidence, just as a desperate mother once came to Jesus for her daughter who was greatly afflicted, and her faith triumphed because she would not go away without bringing her need to Him. Come to Him in the same way for your mother, for your finances, and for your future, and keep bringing these requests to Him.
The Bible shows that Jesus healed many kinds of sickness and infirmity, and Matthew connects His healing work to the promise in Isaiah that He bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses. That power is still present today. At the same time, Jesus did not heal in only one pattern. Sometimes He healed with a touch, sometimes with only a word from a distance, sometimes instantly in a moment that could be felt, and sometimes gradually over time. In fact the only recorded gradual healing in His ministry reminds us that God often works through the natural healing processes He built into our bodies, and that process is no less from Him than an instant touch. We do not always understand why some are healed quickly and others more slowly, but we know God is able and we can trust Him with your mother's liver and her long life, asking for His healing whether it comes in a moment or through gradual restoration and wise medical care.
For your financial burden, God knows you need provision each month and that you are without work and support. Scripture speaks openly about financial pressure and trials, and also about how God can provide and sustain His people even in poverty, giving joy and generosity even in hard times. We will pray that God opens doors for honest work, gives wisdom for managing what you have, provides for the payments you face, and leads you toward stable provision according to His will. He is able to guide you in each and every moment and to give holistic help, not only for the body but for the heart and mind as well.
Since your father has passed away, I pray especially that God will strengthen you, your mother, and your family, keep you safe, and carry you as your Father. Jesus said that whoever does the will of God is His brother and sister and mother, which means that when we walk with Him we are held securely in His family. To prosper in God and to have a good future in His arms is to be led by Him day by day, trusting His will above our own.
Let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I bring this dear mother before You who is suffering with fatty liver disease. Lay Your healing hand upon her, restore her liver, give her good health and strength, and grant her long life according to Your mercy and will. Provide for this family financially, open the way for work and support, help them meet their obligations, and bring them to stability. Guide both mother and child in every moment, keep them safe and strong after their loss, lead them according to Your will, and give them a hopeful future in Your arms. Strengthen their faith as they continue to seek You directly and trust You for both instant and gradual work in their lives. Amen.
