Your prayers for your mother and for your household have been brought before the Lord and we join our hearts with yours at the throne of grace.

We have heard your cry for your dear mother in her affliction with the liver disease, and for length of days and restored health. Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when He healed the sick He showed that pardon and healing are in happy conjunction. We pray that you and your mother would look to Him first for the healing of the soul, the forgiveness of sins through His blood, and then trust His wise and merciful hand for the healing of the body. As you seek the physician and use the means God has provided, may the great Physician Himself lay His hand upon her, change and restore, according to His perfect will, and give her strength and comfort each day.

We also lift before the Lord your burden concerning financial need and the pressure of debt, having no steady work or support. Our God knows our frame and our necessities, and He who feeds the sparrows and clothes the lilies will not forget His children who seek first His kingdom. He who took Peter's wife's mother by the hand and lifted her up when she lay sick of a fever is the same yesterday and today, and He pities those who mourn and spies His image in their weeping eyes. May He keep you safe and strong in Himself, and cause you to prosper in the true prosperity of knowing Christ and walking in His ways.

O Almighty God and Father, we come in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, through whom alone is salvation. We ask Your mercy upon this dear mother. Lay Your healing hand upon her liver and her whole body, ease her suffering, restore her health as it pleases You, and grant her many days to live to Your glory. Forgive her sins and give her peace with You through the blood of Calvary, where the healing balm is found. Provide for this family in their financial trial. Open the way for work and for honest provision, deliver them from the burden of debt, and teach them to trust Your daily care. Your care for your mother and your trust in the Lord come through clearly in your request, and I join you in bringing these needs to Jesus.

For your mother's health, we look to what Scripture tells us about Him. Matthew points us to Isaiah and says that Jesus took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. He has power over the body to heal, power over the natural world, and power over the spiritual realm, and He still has that power today. In the Gospels we see Him heal in many different ways. Sometimes He touched people, sometimes He only spoke a word from a distance, sometimes the healing was immediate and felt in the body in that moment, and sometimes it was gradual. The one gradual healing recorded shows us that God is not limited to one pattern.

All healing is from God. He has built healing processes into the body itself, and that natural process is no less divine because He is the one who created it. At the same time we do not fully understand why some are healed instantly and others are healed slowly through care and time. What we can do is bring your mother to Jesus directly. We do not need another intercessor. We can come boldly to Him ourselves, as the desperate mother did who came for her daughter, and trust His compassion and wisdom. I pray that the Lord will touch your mother's liver and restore her health, whether by His immediate power or through the healing processes He has placed in the body and through the wisdom of doctors, and that He will give her strength and length of days according to His will. Continue to seek good medical care and follow wise counsel for her condition, asking God to bless and guide those efforts.

For your financial need, I also pray with you. The burden of debt is heavy, and God sees your situation without work and without steady support. Scripture reminds us that He knows our needs and invites us to ask Him for daily provision and guidance. I pray that He will open doors for honest work, give you wisdom in managing what you have, help you meet your obligations, and lead you toward stability. May He guide you step by step and provide holistically, as you asked, in each moment.

Often our sorrow is for our own loss, because to think of one who is with Jesus is to have hope and even joy for them.
