We stand with you in this time of great need, lifting your family before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, through whom all authority in heaven and on earth has been given. It is only by His name that we can boldly approach the throne of grace, and we are grateful you have sought Him in this trial. Let us first remind you of the promise in **Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB)**, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Your trust in Him is not in vain, for He is faithful to hear and answer the prayers of His children.
The path of immigration is fraught with uncertainty, but we serve a God who holds the hearts of kings—and indeed, all authorities—in His hands, as **Proverbs 21:1 (WEB)** declares: *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the water courses. He turns it wherever he desires."* We pray that the Lord will sovereignly move in the hearts of those who will decide your case, granting favor that can only come from Him. May He go before you, as He did for the Israelites in the wilderness, making crooked paths straight and removing every obstacle that stands in your way. Let the words of **Isaiah 45:2-3 (WEB)** be your assurance: *"I will go before you and make the rough places smooth. I will break the doors of bronze in pieces and cut apart the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that it is I, Yahweh, who calls you by your name, even the God of Israel."*
We also rebuke the spirits of fear and anxiety that seek to overwhelm you in this season. **2 Timothy 1:7 (WEB)** reminds us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Clothe yourselves in the armor of God, standing firm in the confidence that He who began this good work in you will be faithful to complete it. Let His peace, which transcends all understanding, guard your hearts and minds as you wait upon Him.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, lifting up this family who seeks Your mercy and favor. You are the God who sees the stranger and the sojourner, the One who commands us to show kindness to those in need. Lord, we ask that You go before them in this immigration hearing, preparing the way and softening the hearts of those in authority. Grant them favor that can only come from You, favor that speaks louder than their words and silences every voice of opposition.
Remove every obstacle, Lord, whether seen or unseen. Let Your divine protection surround them, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, fill their hearts. Cast out all fear and anxiety, replacing it with Your perfect love, which drives out fear. Give them wisdom to speak, clarity to answer, and the assurance that You are with them every step of the way.
We declare Your promises over them, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. Let Your will be done in this situation, Father, and may Your name be glorified through it. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let this trial be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness.
We also pray that if there is any area in their lives that is not aligned with Your will, You would convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. May they walk in obedience to Your Word, trusting You completely in every aspect of their lives.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord is fighting for you. Continue to seek His face, to trust in His timing, and to walk in obedience to His Word. He is your provider, your protector, and your peace. We will continue to lift you up in prayer, believing that God will move mightily on your behalf. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and do not waver in your trust in Him. He is faithful, and He will do it.
