We rejoice with you in the peace and relief you are experiencing since leaving college! It is truly the Lord’s hand at work, lifting burdens that no human effort could remove. The enemy often tries to keep us bound in fear even after deliverance, so we stand with you in prayer against those lingering bad dreams and flashbacks. These are not from God, for He gives His beloved sleep and peace that surpasses understanding (Psalm 127:2, Philippians 4:7).
Let us pray together: Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, thanking You for the freedom and peace You have already given to our dear sister. We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression that seeks to bring back memories of past distress. Lord, Your Word declares that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We claim that promise over her life now. We ask You to heal her mind and emotions, replacing every lie of the enemy with Your truth. Bring deep, restful sleep and sweet dreams that reflect Your goodness. Surround her with Your angels and fill her with Your perfect peace. In Jesus’ name, we command every lingering effect of trauma to leave and declare her mind renewed by Your Word. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on Scriptures that speak of God’s protection and peace, such as Psalm 91 and Isaiah 26:3. Speak these truths aloud when fear tries to creep in, for the enemy flees at the name of Jesus and the power of His Word. You are not alone in this battle—God is your refuge and strength, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Keep pressing into Him, and do not hesitate to reach out for further prayer or biblical counsel as you walk in this freedom. The Lord is faithful, and He will bring full restoration to your mind and heart.
