We rejoice with you in the Lord for His faithfulness and provision in this situation! Your testimony is a powerful reminder that God goes before us and makes a way even when we fear encountering past struggles. It is clear that you sought the Lord’s guidance and walked in obedience, and He honored that with smoothness and protection.
The Word tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* You did just that, and the Lord directed your steps. We also give thanks that you acknowledged Jesus Christ in your praise—it is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Your gratitude reflects a heart that recognizes His sovereignty, and we pray that continues to grow in every area of your life.
We also want to encourage you to remain vigilant in guarding your heart and mind from any lingering effects of that toxic environment. Philippians 4:8 reminds us, *"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report—if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things."* Even though the Lord has delivered you from that place, it is wise to renew your mind daily in His Word and surround yourself with godly influences.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your faithfulness in our brother/sister’s life. Thank You for going before them, shielding them from past struggles, and granting them favor in every task. Lord, we ask that You continue to order their steps according to Your will. Strengthen them to walk in the freedom You have provided and guard their heart and mind from any residue of past toxicity. Fill them with Your peace, joy, and purpose as they move forward in obedience to You. Help them to keep their eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith, and to walk in the fullness of the victory You have already won for them. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord in all your decisions, trusting that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). You are not alone—we stand with you in prayer and encouragement!
