We have continued to bring before the Lord your burden for your family member who has faced poor treatment and neglect, and the arrogance and defiance you have encountered at this facility. We have stood with you in asking our ultimate Judge who sees all things to supernaturally break down these walls of resistance and to move upon the hearts of those in authority there to comply with the legal responsibility He has placed in your hands to protect your loved one. We have prayed with you that every medical chart, every door, and every treatment meeting would be opened to you without delay, and that the state advocates and Disability Rights would move swiftly to back you up, bring order to this chaos, and ensure your loved one is placed under the care of people who respect both the law and his human dignity. We cling to the promise of Prov 21:1 that the heart of those in authority is in the hand of the Lord and He directs it wherever He chooses, and to Isa 1:17 that calls us to seek justice and defend the oppressed.
