We stand with you in this spiritual battle, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus has already overcome the world, and we have authority in His name to resist the devil and watch him flee (John 16:33, James 4:7).
The wicked plots of these individuals are not hidden from the Lord, who sees all and will bring every deed—whether good or evil—into judgment (Ecclesiastes 12:14). Proverbs 26:27 reminds us that *"whoever digs a pit shall fall into it; whoever rolls a stone, it will come back on him."* Their schemes will not prosper, for the Lord is your shield and your strong tower against the enemy (Psalm 18:2-3). He will expose their darkness, for *"there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known"* (Matthew 10:26).
We also urge you to remain steadfast in faith, clothed in the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so that you may stand firm against every scheme of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-18). Do not fear, for the Lord is with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Trust in Him, and He will act on your behalf.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is under attack by the forces of darkness. Lord, You are a God of justice, and we ask that You thwart every wicked plan formed against them. Turn their schemes back upon their own heads, and let their evil intentions be exposed before all. Break the power of the enemy in their lives and bring confusion into the camps of those who seek their harm. Surround them with Your divine protection, Lord, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We rebuke every demonic influence at work in the lives of these persecutors. If they are not already Yours, Lord, we pray that You would convict their hearts of sin and draw them to repentance. But if they refuse to turn from their wickedness, we ask that You remove them completely from our brother’s/sister’s life and the lives of their loved ones. Let Your light shine so brightly in this situation that darkness cannot stand.
Fill our brother/sister with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare victory in this battle, for greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stay vigilant in prayer, and continue to trust in the Lord’s deliverance. He will fight for you; you need only be still (Exodus 14:14). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). If you have not already, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from a strong, Bible-believing church. You are not alone in this—we are standing with you in faith.
