Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your request for prayer has been heard and I will remember you before God and ask Him to protect your eyesight and keep you in His mercy.

It is good that you have cried out for mercy, for God hears those who call upon Him with earnestness. Prayer is a great weapon, and when we make God favorable to us by prayer and supplication, we go forth into each day with security, even when the affairs of life are like a storm and the way is full of rocks.

Continue to pray yourself morning and by night, not only asking others to pray for you. It is a good thing to have the prayer of others, but it profits us most when we ourselves are also watchful and alert before God. Do not think you have no need of prayer, for we always need it, and God in His goodness hears us always.

I pray for you now, that the Lord who made the eye and who gives light to all, would guard your sight, preserve your health, and grant you strength and peace. May He keep you from harm, grant wisdom to those who care for you, and help you to see not only with the eyes of the body but to behold His goodness with faith and a clear disposition of heart. May He answer according to His perfect will and give you comfort and hope.

Thank you for sharing this request about your eyesight. I have prayed for you and I am continuing to pray that God will protect your eyes and give you peace.

It is understandable that this kind of need can bring fear. Fear often comes when we take our eyes off the Lord and fix them on the problem in front of us. Scripture reminds us that remembering the Lord is the cure for fear. David said that even when he walked through the valley of death he would fear no evil because the Lord was with him. When we remember who God is, that He is present with us and greater than any threat we face, fear loses its hold.

Fear and faith cannot live together in the same place. Where fear is allowed to take over, faith departs, and where faith and confidence in God are strong, fear is driven out. The enemy often tries to use fear to move us in the wrong direction, but we are called to remember the Lord and to trust Him. That does not mean we ignore wise and prudent care for our bodies, but we do not have to be driven by panic. If God is our protector, He can keep us wherever we are.

Think of Peter when he walked on the water toward Jesus. As long as his eyes were on Jesus he walked in faith, but when he looked at the wind and the waves, fear gripped him and he began to sink. Jesus wants us to keep our eyes on Him. When we look at our circumstances, fear grows. When we look to Him in faith, He sustains us.

The Bible also speaks of another kind of fear, a reverent awe of God. This is not a phobia but a deep respect for His greatness and power and love. This reverent fear is described as the beginning of wisdom and knowledge. It is simply standing in awe of who God is, loving what He loves and turning from what He hates, and trusting His care for us. We are told not to be afraid of sudden fear or when trouble comes upon others, for the Lord will be our confidence and will keep our feet from being caught. Those who live in this reverent trust can know that God will supply what they need and watch over them.

Jesus showed His tender compassion again and again by healing those who were brought to Him. The Gospels record many healings, and they show us that His power covers sickness and infirmity, as Isaiah prophesied that He bore our sicknesses. I believe God still heals. Sometimes He heals instantly, sometimes gradually, and sometimes through the natural processes of healing He has placed within our bodies, which are no less from Him. In every case, all true healing is from His hand, and He hears when His people cry out to Him.

So I pray for you now that the Lord, who is your light and your salvation, would quiet fear in your heart and fill you with faith. May He protect your eyesight, preserve your health, and guide any doctors or care you receive. May He give you confidence in His presence with you and help you to keep your eyes on Jesus. May you experience His peace that comes from remembering Him and reverencing Him above all else.

May the Lord keep you, strengthen you, and let you know His nearness and His healing mercy in the days ahead.
