Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your heart and trusting us to pray with you. We join you in bringing these needs before the Lord.
We pray first that you will know the safety that comes from trusting Him. Scripture promises that whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be delivered, and that the Lord watches over His own, answers His people and cares for them. He is the Shepherd who searches for His sheep, seeks them out when they wander, feeds His flock and causes them to lie down in peace. He makes a covenant of peace with His people so they may dwell safely. As you drive, we ask Him to keep you in that shepherd care, to guard your going and coming, and to give you wisdom and watchfulness on the road. Our only true place of safety is in Him, and we ask Him to surround you with His protection.
For your interview we pray as you prayed, according to His will. We ask that His will be done in this opportunity. His word does not return empty but accomplishes what He pleases and prospers in the purpose for which He sends it. If this door is from Him, we pray He will open it clearly and give you favor and clarity of mind and speech. If another path is His best for you, we pray He will close this one gently and guide your steps to what He has prepared. May you sense His Spirit poured out upon you, giving peace and confidence as you trust Him with the outcome, and may His name be honored in how you speak and listen.
For the silent requests you hold before Him, we pray with you knowing He hears even what is unspoken. He knows the burdens you carry that have not been put into words. He is a God who restores and whose work is always to seek, to find and to bring back. Through the blood of Jesus Christ His Son He abundantly pardons and cleanses from all sin, and He offers mercy to all who call upon Him. We ask Him to meet each hidden need according to His perfect wisdom and love, to provide, to heal, to comfort and to restore where restoration is needed, and to draw you ever closer to Jesus, in whom alone is salvation.
May you be glad and rejoice that the Lord will do great things for those who trust Him. We commit you into His faithful hands and ask Him to keep you, lead you and satisfy you with His goodness. In Jesus name, Amen.
