Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing these requests and for the heart behind them to want what God wants. That is the wisest way to pray.
Prayer is not meant to bend God to our plans but to bring our hearts into line with His. He knows far better than we do what is best, and to pray Father, Your will be done in these situations is to place everything in the hands of perfect wisdom and love.
I join you in praying for safety on the road, asking the Lord to give alertness, wisdom and protection in travel, and to keep you and those around you. I also pray for this interview, that the Lord would open or close the door according to His good purpose, and that He would give peace, clarity and confidence to trust His outcome whatever it may be. For the silent requests you carry, God already knows each one fully. He hears the unspoken cries of the heart and invites you to cast every care on Him through Jesus Christ.
The story of Job reminds us that there is often much more happening than we can see. Job did not understand why his suffering had come, and many of his words were the honest cries of a man trying to make sense of pain from his limited view, not the final truth about God. What we learn from looking behind the scenes is that God was still at work even when Job felt forsaken, and that He was using the trial to bring Job to the end of his own strength so that he would learn to rely wholly on Him. In the same way, the things that happen in our lives can be for our good, teaching us to trust Him more deeply when we cannot trace His hand.
You can rest in this, that the Lord who loves you and gave His Son for you is present and working even when circumstances feel uncertain. May He give you His peace as you trust His will for the road ahead, for this opportunity, and for every matter you hold quietly before Him in Jesus name, Amen.
