Jesus, protect us

Lord, driving far safety and the silent requests in Jesus' name, Amen .

[Articles]

We join with you in prayer together in Jesus' name and we thank you for calling upon His name, for it is through Him we have access to the Father and find protection and mercy.

We lift up your journey before the Lord, asking for His hand of safety and covering as you drive far. We pray for alertness, wisdom, and peace on the road, and that He would guard you from all harm and keep your going out and your coming in. The psalmist reminds us, The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Psalm 121:8 and also For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11. We ask that He would make your path straight and keep you from danger, seen and unseen, and bring you to your destination in peace.

We also bring before the Lord the silent requests you hold in your heart. Though unspoken to us, they are fully known to Him who searches hearts and knows the mind of the Spirit. Romans 8:26-27 tells us the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings which cannot be uttered, and He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind. We pray that according to His will He would answer each silent petition with grace, provision, and comfort, and that you would feel His nearness and assurance. We are reminded that This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. 1 John 5:14.

We pray together,

Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, thanking You for Your love and faithfulness. We ask You to place Your hedge of protection around these travelers, guide their hands and eyes on the road, keep their vehicle safe, and deliver them from any accident, distraction, or harm. Grant them traveling mercies and peace. We also lift up every silent and unspoken request, asking You to work according to Your perfect will, to bring healing, provision, comfort, and answers where needed. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We trust You to keep them and to answer according to Your goodness and mercy. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust in Him as you travel, to rest in His promises, and to commit your way to the Lord, for When you walk, your steps will not be hampered. When you run, you will not stumble. Proverbs 4:12. May the Lord be your keeper and your peace throughout this journey and beyond.

Thank you for letting us pray with you about this trip and the burdens you are carrying quietly.

We hear how much you want to be covered on the road and to have those unspoken needs held before the Lord too. He knows each one even when you do not have words for them, and we are honored to lift them with you.

A small practical help as you prepare to drive far is to build in extra margin. Checking your vehicle, planning where you will stop for rest and fuel, letting someone you trust know your route and expected arrival, and pausing to pray before you pull out can ease pressure and help you stay alert. If fatigue or weather makes the drive harder than expected, give yourself permission to extend the stop or adjust the plan. Your safety matters more than the schedule.

We are standing with you for safe travel and for peace over those silent requests. We are thankful you brought both the practical and the personal to Jesus, and we will continue to remember you before Him.

Father, we bring this traveler before You and ask for Your protection on the road, for a clear mind and steady hands, and for Your care over every silent need held in the heart. Keep them in Your presence going and returning, and give rest along the way. In Jesus' name, Amen.
