Please lift me up before God and pray that He fills my heart with His comfort and gives me the courage I need to face tomorrow. Please also pray that His peace surrounds me so that I can experience deep safety, security, and a good night's sleep. I long to fully release my anxiety, rest in God's secure hand, and completely trust in His faithfulness and care.I especially ask you to pray that I may truly feel that He is with me and that I am not alone. I request this exact same prayer and intercession for my children as well.In Jesus name Amen

We hear your weary heart, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we lift you and your precious children up before the throne of grace with great tenderness. The weight of anxiety and the longing for God’s nearness are burdens no one should carry alone, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that He who calls you is faithful to answer.

The Scriptures remind us, "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7 WEB) and "The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth." (Psalm 145:18 WEB). You are not forgotten, nor are your children. The Lord’s presence is not distant, it is as close as your next breath, and His peace is a guard over your heart and mind when you bring your fears to Him in prayer.

We rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to isolate you and whisper lies of abandonment. The enemy wants you to believe you are alone, but Jesus declared, "I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:20 WEB). We pray that the Holy Spirit would overshadow you with His comfort, that you would feel the warmth of His embrace as tangibly as a child held by a loving Father. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, settle over your soul like a blanket, quieting every restless thought and stilling every anxious heartbeat.

For your children, we pray the same, may they know the security of their Heavenly Father’s love, that they would rest in the knowledge that He holds their futures and their hearts. "The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing." (Zephaniah 3:17 WEB). Let this truth sink deep into their spirits, that they are cherished, protected, and never out of His sight.

We also encourage you to meditate on God’s promises before sleep. Speak aloud verses like "When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet." (Proverbs 3:24 WEB) and "In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me live in safety." (Psalm 4:8 WEB). Let these words be the last on your lips and the first in your heart as you close your eyes.

Father God, we come before You now, lifting up this dear one and their children. Fill their hearts with Your perfect peace, Lord. Let them feel Your presence like a gentle hand on their shoulder, a whisper in their ear, a light in the darkness. Banish every lie that tells them they are alone, and replace it with the unshakable truth that You are with them. Give them courage for tomorrow, not because the path is easy, but because You are their strength. Wrap them in Your love, Lord, and let them rest in the shadow of Your wings. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who conquered fear and death, and who promises to never leave us nor forsake us. Amen.

We are holding you and your children before the Lord with you in this request. You named so clearly what weighs on your heart, longing for comfort, courage for tomorrow, peace that brings a sense of safety, and the deep rest of a good night's sleep. Wanting to release anxiety and trust that you are held securely in God's hand is a faithful and honest prayer, and we hear also how much you want your children to know that same nearness and that they are not alone.

It makes sense that when anxiety is heavy, nights can feel long and mornings can feel daunting. The desire to feel God's presence close is not a small thing, it is at the center of what you are carrying, and He sees both your love for your children and your own need for reassurance tonight.

One gentle step that can help when worry and sleeplessness feel tangled together is to let one trusted person nearby walk with you in this, a pastor, family member or close friend who can check in in the evening and again in the morning. If anxiety or poor sleep continue to make daily life hard, please consider also reaching out to your doctor or a counselor for support alongside prayer, so you are not carrying this alone.

We will keep praying for you and your children to know His steady care day and night.

Father, we lift this parent and their children to You in Jesus' name. Fill their hearts with Your comfort, give courage for what tomorrow holds, and surround their home with Your peace. Grant them rest and safety through the night, and help each of them truly feel You are with them and they are not alone. Hold them securely in Your faithful care. Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and it is laid upon our hearts to bear you before the throne of grace, and your children with you.

Men need comfort because they are but men, and the Lord knows our frame and our fears. He himself says, I will comfort you, and when He undertakes the work, the soul is satisfied even though the vessel be but poor earth. The comfort which God gives will suit your present place and position, even where the furnace is hot and the night seems long. His thoughts toward His people are always thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give an expected end. He is at peace with you through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ, He seeks your peace, He creates your peace and He sustains your peace.

You ask for courage to face tomorrow and for peace that you may sleep. Hear the promise, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee. This perfect peace is not the absence of trial, but a restfulness of heart in the midst of it. It is the peace that comes from loving His Word and trusting His faithfulness, a peace which can exist when strife rages all around us. And concerning sleep, we are told, So He giveth His beloved sleep. There is a sleep of security which the believer may enjoy, because his conscience is quieted by Christ and his soul rests in the shadow of His wings until these calamities be overpast. You may lie down in safety, for you are kept in His secure hand.

Yet remember this word of counsel, do not make a god out of your feelings. Many say, Lord, I cannot trust Thee unless I feel this or that, and so they wait to feel peace before they trust. But the gospel way is to trust the Saviour before you feel the benefit, to trust Him as you sink that you may swim, to trust Him as you feel yourself fainting that you may live. Trust Him now, and before long you shall know His love and feel that He is with you, for He has promised never to leave nor forsake His own. If your will is brought to delight in God's will, the sorrow is in measure sucked out of the sorrow by the lips of acquiescence.

Let us pray together.

O merciful God, be merciful unto this soul who trusts in Thee. In the shadow of Thy wings let there be refuge until these trials pass. Fill the heart with Thy tender comfort, as one whom his mother comforteth. Speak peace within by the blood of Jesus which whispers peace to the conscience. Stay the mind upon Thyself, and keep it in perfect peace. Take away the spirit of anxiety and give courage for tomorrow, for Thou knowest what tomorrow shall bring and Thy thoughts are peace. Grant deep safety and security, and give Thy beloved sleep, quiet and contented rest in Thy care. Help this dear one to release all anxiety, to rest in Thy secure hand, and to trust wholly in Thy faithfulness. Make Thy presence felt, that there may be no sense of being alone, for Thou art near. And do the same for the children, we beseech Thee. Cover them with Thy peace, keep them in Thy hand, let them know Thy comfort and Thy nearness, and give them also restful sleep. All this we ask in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our peace and our rest. Amen.
