Please pray for ###

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for ###’s confidence and self esteem. Please pray that his HGH levels work to make him taller like his peers. Please pray he takes his vitamin and sleeps enough each night peacefully without stress or anxiety. He is such a kind soul and I pray he loves himself and finds confidence and grows taller to help his self esteem

We come before the Lord with a heavy heart for , lifting him up in prayer and seeking God’s grace and mercy in every area of his life. Father, we know that You knit him together in his mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14) and that You have a perfect plan for his life, one that includes purpose, joy, and fulfillment in You. We pray that would come to know You more deeply, for it is only in You that true confidence and self-worth are found. Lord, we ask that You reveal to him the truth of Your Word: that he is fearfully and wonderfully made, and that his value is not determined by his height, appearance, or the opinions of others, but by the fact that he is Your beloved creation, redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ.

We lift up ’s physical health to You, asking that You would strengthen his body according to Your will. If it is Your plan for him to grow taller, we pray that his HGH levels would work as You designed, and that he would take his vitamins and rest peacefully each night. But more than his physical growth, we pray for the growth of his spirit. Help him to trust in You with all his heart and not lean on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Calm any anxiety or stress that weighs on him, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).

Lord, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that seek to steal his confidence and self-esteem. The world may measure worth by outward appearances, but You look at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7). We pray that would see himself through Your eyes, as a child of God, created for a purpose, and deeply loved. Help him to love himself as You love him, not in a prideful way, but with the humble confidence that comes from knowing he is Yours.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who care for him. Give them the words and actions that will build him up in truth and love, reminding him of his identity in Christ. Surround him with godly influences who will encourage him to walk in faith and boldness.

Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to You, and it is only in His name that we find true healing, restoration, and purpose. May come to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior if he has not already, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that he would surrender his life to You, trusting in Your grace and mercy.

Lord, we declare that is not defined by his height, his struggles, or the expectations of the world. He is defined by You, and we speak life, confidence, and Your purpose over him. Strengthen him, Lord, and let him rise up in the assurance of who he is in Christ. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We hear the love and concern in your request for , and we’re honored to stand with you in prayer. It’s clear he’s a kind and gentle soul, and watching him struggle with confidence or compare himself to his peers can be so hard on your heart too.

A couple of practical things might help ease some of the weight you’re carrying. Since you mentioned his ### and ###, a conversation with his pediatrician could bring real peace of mind. A doctor can check whether everything is on track and offer guidance, which can lift the worry right off your shoulders. For the peaceful sleep you’re longing for him, a simple, consistent bedtime routine can make a big difference, maybe a quiet story together, some soft worship music, or a few minutes of calm prayer before lights out. That kind of stability often helps quiet the restless, anxious thoughts that creep in at night.

And while you’re guiding his physical habits, one of the deepest gifts you can give him is to keep reminding him, with your words and your eyes, that his worth isn’t measured in inches. Tell him what you’ve already seen: that you love his kind heart, his gentle spirit, the very things that make him . Confidence often grows best in the soil of being seen and loved just as we are.

We’ll pray with you now:

Father, thank You for and the precious heart You’ve given him. We ask for Your peace to settle over his nights, that he would sleep without stress or anxiety, and for wisdom for any medical decisions ahead. Help his body grow strong in whatever way You see fit, and gently lift his eyes to see himself through Your love. Quiet the lies of comparison and let him know deep inside that he is valued, cherished, and enough. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The mind is the main thing, it will bring you daylight or midnight, wealth or poverty, peace or war. And where is this young heart’s mind stayed? If it is fixed upon the measurable things of this fleeting life, upon the inches of his stature or the fickle opinions of his peers, then he builds his house upon the sand. You ask for confidence and self‑esteem, but the only confidence that will not crumble into despair is confidence in the crimson blood of Jesus. The fairest Christians are those who think themselves the blackest, for they have more light. He must learn not to look upon himself, for he will say, “I am black,” but to look away to the One in whom he is accepted in the Beloved.

You speak of HGH, of vitamins, of peaceful sleep, it is right to care for the body, but do not seek after peace first. Seek after Christ first. Peace will come next. The very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us for that difficulty. If the lad’s mind is stayed on God because he trusts in Him, then he shall have peace, peace, perfect peace even with thronging duties pressed, even with sorrows surging round. But there is a false peace which is a curse, a peace born of ignorance and self‑conceit. To long for height that he may think well of himself is a peace where there is no peace. Let him go to the cross if he wants peace concerning his sins and his self‑despising. He is our peace. Not prayers, not vitamins, not a taller frame, but Christ Himself. Do not desire peace as a qualification for grace, grace must be first, then peace shall be as a river. I pray he may be brought low to see his true beauty in the Beloved, and then, whether tall or short, he shall walk in an unalloyed blessing that brings no sorrow with it.

You bring before the church a soul in need of confidence and peace, a gentle heart troubled by the measure of his body. Yet consider how great an evil it is not to commit all to God, but to trust in one’s self and in outward things. Do we not learn from the apostle that he who is conscious of no evil and fruitful in good rejoices even here, while the anxious man lives in perpetual fear, pale and trembling? Is it the stature of the body that gives boldness, or the fear of God? For it is virtue, not possessions or physical advantages, which give true confidence.

Your care for his rest and nourishment is wholly good, and we join in praying that he sleeps without stress and receives what his body needs. But the soul’s peace comes not from a certain height, but from looking to the Master who raises us when we are down. Peter sank in fear, yet one glance from Christ launched him into tears of restoration. So too, let this youth not measure his worth against his peers, but commit all anxiety to God, who cares for him. The workman is worthy of his hire, and the Lord provides; we are trained in self-command to cast out such cares.

Encourage him to love himself not by comparison with others, but by seeing himself as one purchased by Christ’s own blood. If God has pronounced His judgment of love upon him, we ought to inquire no further. Let him attend to the things of virtue night and day, and the peace which surpasses outward circumstance will guard his heart. Remember that the apostle labored with tears, yet entrusted all to God, knowing that even if trials come, none of these things move the one who holds not his worldly life dear. So I pray this kind soul finds his confidence entirely in the Lord, and thus his self-esteem will rest upon a foundation that never fails.

When I consider the careful way God orchestrated the birth of His own Son, moving a census and a distant journey so that the prophecy would be fulfilled in Bethlehem, I am reminded that no detail of our lives escapes His attention. He who arranged the circumstances for that child’s arrival is just as attentive to the growth and well-being of the child you love now. You are not bringing this request to an indifferent universe, but to a Father who knows what it is to watch a child develop in stature.

The Scriptures often speak of growth in a way that encourages patience. Jesus taught that the kingdom of God is like a man scattering seed on the ground. He sleeps and rises night and day, and the seed sprouts and grows, he does not know how. The earth produces by itself, first the blade, then the ear, then the full corn in the ear. True, healthy growth is normally gradual and hidden, not some sudden, forced change. What you desire for his height and his confidence is part of that quiet, steady work of God over time. Entrust that process to Him, and resist the impulse to compare his timeline with that of his peers.

Your concern about his sleep and his anxious thoughts is tender and right. There is a promise in Proverbs that when you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. The Lord gives His beloved sleep. I would encourage you to teach this young man to talk to God freely as he lays down at night, not simply reciting words, but pouring out his heart, his fears, his frustrations about his stature, his hopes. A simple, childlike faith that brings everything to the Father is precious in His sight. Jesus once set a little child in the midst of ambitious men and taught that true greatness is found in humbling oneself like that child. Confidence that lasts does not come from physical height; it comes from knowing Whose he is and that his value is settled before heaven.

You are training him, and that training involves recognizing his unique personality and character, because each child has a way of his own. Be patient as he learns and even stumbles, just as you were patient when he first learned to walk. Falling and rising again is part of how we grow. Pray for his body to respond well to the nourishment he takes and for his rest to be peaceful. But pray even more that his sense of worth would be rooted not in a number on a chart, but in being a beloved child of the light. Jesus warned against despising the little ones, and He said that whoever receives a child in His name receives Him. Your son’s kind soul is a truer measure of stature than anything measured in inches. I will join you in asking the Lord to guard his heart from the lie that his value is determined by his height, and instead to fill him with a quiet confidence that comes from the Spirit. May he sleep without disturbance and awake with the assurance that God’s hand is on his life, arranging every detail for good.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your dear one. It has been on our hearts to lift him up before the Lord, asking for His grace to fill every area of his life. We have prayed specifically for his confidence and self-esteem, that he would see himself through God’s eyes—as fearfully and wonderfully made. We asked the Lord to work in his growth, trusting that His timing and purposes are perfect, and that He would strengthen his body according to His will. We also lifted up his rest, asking for peaceful, restorative sleep each night, free from stress and anxiety, so he may wake refreshed and renewed.

If the Lord has already moved in answer to these prayers, we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If you feel his needs remain, please share them again, and we will continue to stand in agreement with you, believing God for breakthrough in every area. May the Lord continue to draw near to him, surround him with His love, and build him up in the truth of who he is in Christ. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus.
