We hear your heartfelt plea for your son, and we join you in lifting this need before the Lord. The Bible assures us in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." We believe that God has a perfect plan for your son’s life, including his career, and we trust Him to open the right doors at the right time.
Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask that You guide in his job search. Provide him with opportunities that align with Your will, where he can use his gifts and talents to glorify You. Give him wisdom in his decisions, favor with potential employers, and peace as he waits on You. Remove any anxiety or fear, replacing it with trust in Your provision. We declare that he will not lack any good thing, for You are his Provider. Open the eyes of those who can offer him a position, and let them see the value he brings. May this season of seeking lead him to a workplace that honors You and allows him to thrive. We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We also encourage your son to seek the Lord diligently during this time. Jeremiah 29:13 reminds us, "You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." This season of waiting can be an opportunity for him to draw closer to God, to seek His guidance through prayer and Scripture, and to trust in His timing. Remind him that God’s delays are not God’s denials, and that He is working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
If your son is not yet walking closely with the Lord, we urge him to turn to Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is only through faith in Him that we can have a personal relationship with God. If he has not yet surrendered his life to Christ, now is the time to do so. We would be honored to help him take that step if he desires.
Lastly, we rebuke any spirit of discouragement or doubt that may be trying to take root in his heart. The enemy wants to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we stand on the promise that God has plans to prosper him and not to harm him, plans to give him hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We declare that your son will walk in the fullness of God’s blessing and provision. Keep pressing into the Lord, and trust that He is faithful to answer your prayers.
