Servant of All
Father God, I stopped praying and believing for the longest time because nothing positive has happened. I have had so much hate in my heart. My ### needs to realize his wife is truly an awful person, promotions given to others instead of the ones that have actually proven they deserve it, I wish I could make some new friends, buy a house, lose weight, get out of debt, monetize on social media, etc. I’ve prayed but nothing good ever happens to me. Please God what exactly am I doing wrong?

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We hear the pain and frustration in your words, and we want you to know that your cry has reached the throne of grace. First, let us address the most important foundation—your relationship with God through Jesus Christ. If you have not already, we urge you to confess your sins, repent, and place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we pray that you would do so today, for He alone can bring true peace, healing, and restoration.

Now, let us address the struggles you’ve shared. It is clear that bitterness and resentment have taken root in your heart, particularly toward your supervisor’s wife and those who have received promotions you believe you deserved. The Bible warns us about the dangers of harboring hatred and unforgiveness. *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:31-32). Unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to suffer—it only harms you. We rebuke the spirit of bitterness in your life in Jesus’ name and pray that God would soften your heart to release these burdens to Him. *"Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord"* (Romans 12:19). Trust that God sees your struggles and will vindicate you in His perfect timing.

You also feel overlooked and undervalued in your workplace. While it is natural to desire recognition for your hard work, we must remember that our ultimate reward comes from the Lord. *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ"* (Colossians 3:23-24). Instead of comparing yourself to others, focus on serving God faithfully where He has placed you. Promotion comes from Him, not from man (Psalm 75:6-7). We pray that God would open doors of opportunity for you and give you favor with those in authority, but more importantly, that He would give you contentment and peace in your current season.

Your desire for new friendships, a home, financial freedom, and health are all valid, but we must examine the motives behind them. Are these things you are seeking for your own comfort and security, or are they part of God’s plan to use you for His glory? The Bible warns us against chasing after the things of this world. *"Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him"* (1 John 2:15). Instead, seek first the kingdom of God, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33). We pray that God would provide for your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19) and that He would lead you to godly friendships that will sharpen you and draw you closer to Him.

Regarding your desire to monetize on social media, we must caution you to guard your heart against the love of money and the pursuit of worldly success. *"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have wandered away from the faith in their greed and pierced themselves with many sorrows"* (1 Timothy 6:10). If God has given you a platform, use it to glorify Him, not to seek fame or wealth. We pray that God would give you wisdom in how you use your time and talents online and that He would direct your steps according to His will.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister who is feeling weary, overlooked, and burdened by the struggles of life. Lord, we first ask that You would draw her close to You and remind her of Your unfailing love. Help her to release the bitterness and resentment in her heart, replacing it with Your peace and forgiveness. We rebuke the spirit of unforgiveness and declare that she is set free from its grip in Jesus’ name.

Father, we ask that You would open her eyes to see the ways You have been working in her life, even when she feels unseen. Give her patience and trust in Your timing, knowing that You are a God who sees and rewards those who diligently seek You (Hebrews 11:6). Provide for her needs—whether it be a home, financial freedom, or new friendships—and help her to seek You above all else.

Lord, we pray for her workplace. Give her favor with her supervisors and coworkers, and help her to work as unto You, not for the approval of man. If it is Your will, open doors for promotion and increase, but more than that, give her contentment and joy in serving You wherever she is.

Father, we ask that You would heal her heart from the pain of feeling overlooked and undervalued. Remind her that her worth is found in You alone, not in the opinions or actions of others. Help her to walk in humility and grace, trusting that You will lift her up in due time (1 Peter 5:6).

Finally, Lord, we pray that You would give her wisdom in how she uses her time, talents, and social media. Let her not be driven by the pursuit of worldly success but by a desire to glorify You in all she does. We declare that she is blessed, favored, and highly favored in Jesus’ name. May she experience Your goodness and faithfulness in every area of her life.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, knowing that nothing is impossible for You. Amen.

Dear friend, we hear your heart's cry and we're here for you. First, let's remember that God is always with us, even in the darkest times. He sees you, He knows your struggles, and He cares deeply.

We want to encourage you to keep praying and trusting in God. Sometimes it feels like nothing is happening, but remember, God is at work even when we can't see it. He's not a genie in a lamp, granting wishes at our command, but a loving Father who has a perfect plan for our lives.

We understand your frustration with feeling overlooked and undervalued. It's hard not to compare ourselves to others, but let's try to focus on what God has called us to do, right where we are. Remember, our ultimate reward comes from Him, not from man.

As for your desires - new friends, a home, financial freedom, health - know that God wants the best for you. He promises to provide for your needs according to His riches in glory. But remember, His timing is perfect, even if it doesn't align with ours.

And about monetizing on social media, let's be careful not to let the love of money or worldly success drive us. Instead, let's use any platform God gives us to glorify Him.

Let's keep praying, keep trusting, and keep seeking God's face. He is faithful, and He will not let you down. We're praying for you, ###. Keep holding on. God's got you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
