please pray for ###

Kuydoreth

Humble Servant of All
please pray for me that Lord Jesus help my relationship with my fellow friend ### ,help us can make up and spend time together, and help us have profound affection that runs through our whole life.

We join you in prayer and thank you for calling upon the Lord Jesus for help with this friendship, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and find reconciliation and true love.

We pray for you and your fellow friend that the Lord would bring healing where there has been distance and help you to make up according to His will. We ask that He would give you both humble and forgiving hearts toward one another, and wisdom to spend time together in ways that honor Him and build each other up.

The Word reminds us, A friend loves at all times and a brother is born for adversity Proverbs 17:17. We pray that your friendship would reflect this steadfast love. We also remember, bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any even as Christ forgave you, so you also do Colossians 3:13, and with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace Ephesians 4:2-3. If there has been hurt or misunderstanding between you, we pray you will speak the truth in love, confess any wrong, extend forgiveness, and be restored.

You asked for profound affection that runs through your whole life. We pray that God would deepen your affection into a Christ centered love that endures. Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God 1 John 4:7, and Love is patient and is kind love doesn’t envy love doesn’t brag, is not proud 1 Corinthians 13:4. True affection that lasts a lifetime is rooted not in mere emotion but in the self giving agape love of Christ.

If this affection you desire is a friendship, we pray God makes it a lifelong brotherly or sisterly bond that encourages you both to grow in faith, as Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor Ecclesiastes 4:9. If this affection is growing into romantic love, we encourage you to pursue it as courtship with the goal of godly marriage, for marriage is God’s design for profound lifelong affection and commitment between a man and a woman. Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled Hebrews 13:4. This means to honor God with purity and to abstain from fornication, which is sex before or outside marriage, and to seek to discern if God is calling you together as husband and wife in a union that honors Him. Spend your time together in wholesome fellowship, in prayer, in the Word, and in service, building a foundation that can bear the weight of a lifetime.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one and this friendship to You in the name of Jesus. Lord, You know the hearts, the history, and the longing for restored fellowship. We ask You to soften hearts, to remove pride and hurt, and to grant repentance and forgiveness where needed. Help them to make up and to be reconciled in a way that glorifies You. Guide their time together, that it would be fruitful, pure, and encouraging, and that their affection for one another would be shaped by Your love, patient, kind, humble, and enduring. Lead them in Your will for this relationship, whether as lifelong friends in Christ or, if it is romantic, toward a godly marriage that honors You. Fill them both with Your Spirit, that they may love as You have loved us. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray together when possible, to study Scripture together, and to seek wise godly counsel as you walk forward. Trust the Lord to establish the affection that endures, for His love never fails.

We hear how much your friendship with ### means to you and how deeply you want to make things right and have time together again. Wanting a lasting, steady affection in a friendship is a good and tender desire to bring to Jesus, and we are glad you did.

Reconciliation tends to grow best when both people are willing to move toward restoring trust together. That usually involves being honest about what happened, taking responsibility for our own part, listening carefully to how the other person experienced it, and giving trust time to rebuild instead of expecting everything to feel close right away.

One simple next step that often helps is to reach out with a short, sincere note. You could briefly own your part where needed, express appreciation for the friendship, and offer an open invitation to meet in person when they are ready, without pressing for an immediate answer. Even a brief time together where you can share honestly and listen well can help you both see how to move forward. If conversation feels stuck, a trusted pastor or mutual friend who knows you both can sometimes help you talk through things calmly.

We are standing with you in this.

Father, we lift this friendship to You and ask for Your healing and wisdom for both friends. Help them speak with kindness and honesty, forgive as You lead them, and discern how to spend time together in a way that honors You. Guide their next steps and give peace as they trust You with the outcome. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request has been laid before the Lord and heard with tenderness, and we desire to bear your burden to the throne of grace in a way that honors Christ and seeks His highest good for you and for your friend.

We must begin where all true peace begins, not with the mending of a human bond, but with perpetual communion with the Lord Jesus. Our conscience and our heart award to Him the highest affection and the most constant service, and with our Ransomer we would live in lifelong discipleship. Know you not that you are called to be the friends of Christ, and that there cannot be friendship if it is all on one side. Friendship is a reciprocal thing. Jesus proved His friendship by laying down His life, and He reveals Himself to His people and His people tell out their hearts to Jesus. But obedience is an essential of true friendship to Christ, for if we know it is Christ's will and do not choose to do it, there is an end of all friendship.

Therefore our first prayer for you is not that a human affection may be gratified, but that your soul may be restored by Christ Himself. Do not try to restore it yourself, nor undergo any process by which it may work itself right. Go straight away to Christ and lay hold on Him, just as you are, whatever your condition may be. He is the God of Peace and He has, on His part, prepared everything that is necessary for a perfect reconciliation. God has prepared all things that are needed for this present and perpetual reconciliation, to make the friendship between God and man firm and lasting, and all that is needed has been already supplied in the blood of His Son. We can speak from experience when we talk about being at peace with God and the joy which this reconciliation brings, for we have felt it, and we long that you and your friend should know it also. For apart from salvation through Jesus Christ alone there is no true peace, and no human affection can run pure or lasting if the heart is still far off from God by wicked works.

We pray also that your affections may be ordered according to the Word of the Lord. The relationship of which Scripture says, Your Maker is your Husband, teaches us that the nearest earthly bonds are covenant bonds, not of birth but of solemn vow before God. Marriage, as God ordained it, is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and it assumes all the responsibilities which belong to that condition. Within that covenant alone has God placed the gift of dwelling together and the mystery of one flesh. Outside of it, what may seem affection becomes a snare, and we counsel any who contemplate a lifelong affection on the basis of capricious attraction, without reference to the sanctity of the relationship before God, to pause and seek the Lord's mind with fear and trembling. Worldly wisdom will tell you to follow your heart, but the Word calls you to repentance and to holiness, and Christ alone can give that repentance.

The ties of kindred and friendship are being broken all around, and the sharp pang of losing those we love is not lightened by its frequency. We do not make light of your desire to make up and to spend time together. Yet strange love, or the lack of it, which would allow any to walk together without fellowship and affection according to godliness, makes unity a misery. If reconciliation between you and your friend is to be a blessing, it must be a holy reconciliation, wrought at once by the power of the Holy Spirit, in purity, in truth, and in obedience to Christ's commands.

So we will pray thus, and we invite you to pray with us. O Lord Jesus, bring these two souls first into perfect reconciliation with Thyself through Thy cross. Grant them repentance and faith, restore their souls, and give them that profound affection for Thyself which runs through the whole life. Teach them to do whatsoever Thou commandest, that they may be called Thy friends. If it be Thy will that their friendship continue, make it chaste, honest, and holy, free from all that would dishonor Thee, and let their communion be such as befits those who walk in the light. If Thou hast ordained marriage, let it be only as Thou hast ordained it, in the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, entered into in the Lord and for Thy glory. If not, grant them grace to love one another with the disinterested affection which seeks the other's holiness above its own comfort, and to be content to do Thy will. Keep them from defilement and from presuming to ask Thy blessing upon what Thou hast not appointed, and restore unto them the joy of Thy salvation. We ask not for the fulfilling of every wish, but for perfect restoration in Thee, that whether together or apart, they may be found faithful. Amen.

May heavenly Father God and Lord Yeshua and Holy Spirit watch over the little ones. His church. And give a blessing to someone in need. That we pray for others who need his love and comfort. May he Alps give some love and comfort for you and your rrquest. In Lord Yeshuas name amen

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
