We have received your request and we have heard the weight of what you and your family have carried for these five years. The long waiting, the financial strain, the hope you felt when you found a house within reach, and now the fear and confusion from what you are experiencing in your home, all of this is taken seriously and brought before the Lord with care.

We want to pray for you as you have asked, for provision and for a way forward, and also to point you to what matters most. Scripture teaches that possessions belong ultimately to the Lord and are given for our use, not for our trust to rest in. Wealth itself is not evil when it is justly gained and held without covetousness, but it can become ensnaring when we look to it for our security. A house can be a good gift to meet our needs, but our deepest safety and hope are not in walls or in a market listing, but in Christ. The present life with all its anxieties can feel like a dream that passes, and we are called to seek first health for the soul and care for spiritual things, using the world as those who do not cling to it, and trusting God to supply what is needed for daily life and health.

We also hear your distress about strange occurrences and your concern that a member of your family may be under demonic oppression. The Scriptures show that such affliction is real and is to be met not with curiosity or fear alone, but with prayer, with the authority of Jesus Christ, and with the help of the church. A person in such a condition is to be pitied and helped, not hated or simply fled from in secret. We urge you not to face this alone and not to try to handle it only as a housing problem. Please bring this immediately to faithful pastors or elders in a Bible believing church near you, people who can meet with you in person, hear the details carefully, ensure the safety of everyone in the home, pray with you, open the Scriptures, and walk with you step by step. True deliverance comes through Christ alone, who has triumphed over every evil power, and he works through his Word, prayer, and the care of his people.

We will pray for you now, and we will continue to pray with others in the church.

Father in heaven, we come to you only through Jesus Christ your Son, who alone is our Savior and who has obtained possession over all things by his coming in the flesh and his victory on the cross. We lift up this family to you. You know their long waiting, their financial needs, and the house they have hoped for. If it is your will, open the way for a suitable home to be available and provide what they need to obtain it, and give them wisdom with realtors and with every decision. Above all, we ask for your protection and mercy in their present home. Bring peace where there has been fear, guard them from harm, and bring freedom and healing to the family member who is afflicted. Give wisdom and courage to pastors and to this family to seek help openly and safely, to turn from all fear to faith in Christ, and to cling to your Word. Teach them to make provision for what is necessary for health and daily life, but to set their deepest hope on spiritual things and on Christ who has put on us and given us adoption as your children. Deliver them from evil and supply what is good according to your will. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

Please stay in close contact with a local church that can support you in person. Keep praying, keep reading Scripture together, and let mature believers know where you live and how to reach you quickly. Entrust the house and the finances to the Lord, asking that his will be done, and trust that whether he provides this particular house or another provision, he will not forsake those who seek him. We are praying for you and we encourage others to pray with us.

Your request has been heard and I want to respond with care for what you and your family are carrying. Five years of searching, financial pressure, and now fear inside your own home is a heavy burden, and it is right to bring it to the Lord and to ask others to pray.

The Bible is clear that evil spirits are real. They are intelligent beings without bodies of their own, and for that reason they seek to inhabit a person. Scripture shows that when Jesus commanded them to leave, they often left with a cry from the mouth, and that when an unclean spirit leaves a person it wanders through dry places seeking rest and looking for a place to return. The disturbances you describe, objects moving, voices and noises, are not to be dismissed. At the same time the Bible is also clear that Jesus Christ has complete power over demonic forces as well as over the natural world. It is never a question of His ability to deliver, but of coming to Him in faith and submission.

Scripture also teaches that God makes a separation for His own. In Revelation those who have the seal of God are distinguished from those who do not, and no spirit can ultimately possess or destroy one who belongs to Christ. The only provision God has made for forgiveness, cleansing and protection is through His Son. The Spirit bears witness to this truth, that salvation and deliverance come through Jesus alone. If anyone in the family has not yet trusted Christ, that is the first and most urgent need. If you do belong to Him, you can rest in His authority and ask Him to cover your home and your family with His protection.

God also shows in His Word that He makes provision even for what looks incurable. Under the old law God gave instructions for the cleansing of a leper, a disease with no human cure, so that if He chose to heal, there was a way for that person to be restored. He leaves room for Himself to work and we should not put Him in a box. He sees your financial struggle and your need for a safe place to live. With God, His vision for your good and His provision go together. He knows what you need and He is able to provide.

Yet the greater possession God wants you to have is not only a house. Scripture says that God had given His people the land, but they stopped short and did not fully possess what He had promised. Do not settle for only asking God for a building. Seek first His deliverance, His holiness and His rule in your lives. He has promised that deliverance will arise, that His purposes will stand, and that He will preserve His people even through great trial.

For that reason I would encourage you not to try to handle this quietly or alone by simply slipping away without help for the person you believe is afflicted. That approach can leave that person without help and can put you in greater danger. Please seek wise, mature Christian counsel face to face as soon as possible, people who know the Scriptures and who can pray with you, help you discern what is happening, ensure your safety, and minister to the family member with the authority of Jesus. Do not try to confront an evil spirit in your own strength. Come under the care of faithful believers who will stand with you, pray for protection, and point everyone involved to repentance and faith in Christ.

I am praying for you in this way. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I ask for Your mercy on this family. Cover them with the blood of Your Son and seal them as Your own. Bring conviction, repentance and faith where it is needed, and command any evil influence to leave in the authority of Jesus. Grant wisdom to those who counsel them, provide safety, and guard their minds and bodies from torment. You know their financial need and their desire for a home. Provide according to Your wisdom and Your perfect will, and give them peace to trust You whether that specific house returns to the market or You lead them to another place You have prepared. Teach them to watch and to keep their lives clean before You, and to possess all that You have promised in Christ. Amen.

Keep seeking the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word, stay in fellowship with believers who can support you closely, and trust that the One who has power over every spirit and every circumstance will lead you step by step.
