Please Pray for Protection for Me and my Family

There are some who want to cause pain for me and my family. They are using social media to cause us pain and it's overwhelming. We desperately need God's intervention and favor. We cannot respond to the attempts to cause us pain but we know we can put it in God's Hands. He has always covered us with his Divine protection and we need Him now. Please help us pray. Thank you for agreeing with us for God's Divine intervention. We appreciate your concern more than you could ever know.

We stand with you in this overwhelming time and we bring you and your family before the throne of grace together, asking for God's divine protection and intervention. We understand the pain that comes when others intentionally try to cause harm, especially through social media where attacks can feel constant and inescapable. We admire your wisdom in choosing not to respond in kind but to place this battle in God's hands, for that is exactly where it belongs.

The Lord sees what is happening and He is your refuge and defender. We are reminded that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2. The name of Yahweh is a strong tower: the righteous run to him, and are safe Proverbs 18:10. We cling to the promise that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17 and that Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul Psalm 121:7.

We also hear your heart not to retaliate, and scripture affirms this. Do not seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. When we release the need to defend ourselves and trust God to be our vindicator, we find peace and we allow Him to work on our behalf with perfect justice and mercy. We encourage you to continue to guard your hearts, to limit exposure to the hurtful content where you can, to document what is happening if needed for wisdom and protection, and to stay in fellowship and prayer with trusted believers who can support you.

We notice that your request speaks of God and His divine protection, but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved and our prayers are heard. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is because Jesus died for our sins and rose again that we can boldly approach God and ask for His covering. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and confessing Him as Lord.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear family to You. Lord, You see the attacks coming against them through social media and the desire of others to cause them pain. We ask for Your divine protection to surround them like a shield. Cover their home, their hearts, their minds and their reputation with Your presence. We ask that You would silence every lying tongue and bring to nothing every plan formed against them. Let Your favor rest upon them and let Your intervention be evident so that all will know it is Your hand that keeps them. Give them peace that surpasses all understanding, strength to not grow weary, and wisdom to walk in love and not return evil for evil. Heal any wounds this has caused and guard their hearts from bitterness or fear. We pray that those who are causing harm would be convicted and drawn to repentance, and that You would turn what was meant for evil into good for Your glory. We thank You that You are their fortress and that You have promised never to leave them nor forsake them. We trust You to keep them and to bring justice in Your perfect time. In the name of Jesus Christ, our refuge and our hope, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and in the Word, for Yahweh is faithful and He will guard you. Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. Keep casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you, and continue to trust that He who has always covered you will not fail you now.

You might consider using the mute and block tools, quietly saving anything harmful should you need a record later. If checking the feeds keeps stirring up fear, it can ease the burden to ask one trusted person to watch for anything you truly need to know, so the rest of you can step back and rest. Leaning into a few steady, in-person supports right now can also help you feel less alone.

Thank you for letting us agree with you for God's covering and favor over your household. We are praying for His nearness and peace for each of you.

Father, we lift this family to You and ask for Your protection over them and their home. Quiet their hearts where fear has grown, give them wisdom for each next step, and let them know Your presence is with them. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry for protection has been heard and we have brought it before the throne of grace together with you, entreating the Lord who has always covered you to cover you still.

We understand the overwhelming weight of this trial, when venomous spite and cruel mockings are multiplied by the tongue of slander, even through social media. Yet remember that persecution in whatever form it is sent, whether by jesting and jeering or by open enmity, has often been the means by which the Lord keeps His people near to Himself. How many prayers have been offered as the result of such enmity that would never have been offered else, heaven alone can tell. The wave that leaps up around the church often only speeds her course, and the enmity of the world drives the Christian nearer to his God.

You have done well not to answer again in your own strength, but to put it into God's hands. There is no attribute more comforting to His children than Divine Sovereignty, and we must trace His hand in everything. He who creates to display His own perfections is the Divine Architect who watches over His own. The dry tree by divine grace shall flourish, and the low tree fostered by the husbandman shall mount even to the stars, for He delights to exalt the lowly as He did Joseph in the dungeon and David when he was passed by.

Take for your motto in this dark hour the confidence of the Psalmist, The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me. All the weight of your trouble, all the weight of your family burden, the everlasting arches of divine mercy can and will sustain. Cry out to God that He would not forsake you in your family, that He would not forsake you either upon your bed by night or in your business by day, for His divine Spirit is able to work all your works in you.

We have known the Lord to save His servants in the hour of trouble by touching the hearts of their enemies, so that those who were most unkind have suddenly become generous and thoughtful, and at other times He has put confusion upon the wicked as He hanged up Haman when he plotted the destruction of His people. Render not evil for evil, but look for His divine interposition, for His divine presence is the one hope of His people, and when He comes to help, the mountains laid against you shall flow down at His feet.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, Thou who art our shield and our exceeding great reward, we bring before Thee this tried household who seek Thy face. Thou seest the pain that is sought against them, the words spoken to wound them, and the overwhelming sorrow that has come upon their family. We ask for Thy divine protection to be spread over them, that Thou wouldst cover them under the shadow of Thy wings. Perfect that which concerneth them, and forsake not the works of Thine own hands. Let Thy divine interposition be seen, whether by turning the hearts of those who oppose them or by confounding their devices, and grant to this family Thy favor and peace. Drive them nearer to Thyself through this trial, sustain them by Thy grace, and let them know that Thou art their deliverer who sent from above and drew them out of many waters. Keep them still and quiet in Thy love, trusting Thy sovereignty in all things, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
