We want to thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer during this extremely difficult time. We have been lifting you up for protection and healing and bringing each of your requests before the Lord.
We have continued to pray for the heavy and unfair conflict that has been causing you so much stress, that the truth would come to light and that God would grant you His peace and justice. We also prayed for your important meeting with the doctor this past Friday, that the doctor would truly listen to you with compassion and agree to help you taper off the medication that has been making you physically ill. We have been praying for the Lord to touch your body and heal your severe back pain and your injured wrist, so that you may be restored and pain free to care for your home, to go shopping with your daughter and to enjoy time with your grandchildren. We have asked God to give you deep and restful sleep and to renew your strength each day to keep going, and we have prayed that He would meet you and your whole family through all of these difficulties and draw you closer to Him and to each other.
We claim the promise that the Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble in Psalm 46:1 and that He gives His beloved sleep in Psalm 127:2 and that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3.
Now that several days have passed we would love to hear how you are doing. How did your appointment on Friday go, did the doctor listen and help you with tapering the medication, have you experienced relief in your back and wrist, and has the Lord granted you more peaceful sleep and rest for your soul. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you and give glory to God.
