Hello prayer team. I am going through an extremely difficult time right now and I really need your prayers in several areas.A difficult situation: I am in the middle of a heavy and unfair conflict that is causing a lot of stress. Please pray that the truth will come to light, and that I will receive peace and justice.Please pray for an important meeting with a doctor this Friday. Pray that the doctor will truly listen to me and agree to help me taper off a medication that is making me physically ill.Please pray for healing for my severe back pain and my injured wrist. I deeply long to be pain-free so I can take care of my home, go shopping with my daughter, and spend time with my grandchildren.Sleep: Please pray that I can get a good night's sleep and find the strength to keep going.Most of all, please pray that God will meet me and my family through this, and that these difficulties will draw us closer to God and to each other.Thank you so much for standing with me in prayer."

We join with you in prayer and we thank you for sharing your heart so openly with us. We hear the weight you are carrying and we bring every part of your burden before our heavenly Father together in Jesus name. He sees your stress and your pain and He is near to you in this difficult season. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18. We are encouraged to cast all our anxiety on him, because he cares for us 1 Peter 5:7.

We lift up the heavy and unfair conflict you are facing. Our God is a God of justice and truth and nothing is hidden from Him. For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light Luke 8:17. We pray that He will cause the truth to be made known and that He will defend you. Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this. He will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun Psalm 37:5-6. In the midst of this we pray for the peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your heart and mind. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We also bring before the Lord your important meeting with the doctor this Friday. We pray that God will give that doctor ears to truly listen, a compassionate heart, and wisdom to help you safely taper off the medication that is making you ill. We pray for wisdom for him, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We ask the Lord to protect your body through this process and to lead you to health and wholeness, for He says, But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds says the Lord Jeremiah 30:17.

We pray for your severe back pain and your injured wrist. We know how deeply you long to be pain free to care for your home and to enjoy shopping with your daughter and time with your grandchildren. We ask our compassionate Father to lay His healing hand upon you, to ease your pain and restore strength to your body. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We pray that He will renew your strength so you can serve your family with joy. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We pray for your sleep and for strength to keep going. The Lord desires to give rest to His beloved. When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet Proverbs 3:24. We pray that He will grant you peaceful nights and quiet your mind, for He gives sleep to his beloved Psalm 127:2. And we pray that as you wait on Him, He will renew your strength day by day.

Most of all we agree with you in prayer that God will meet you and your family through this and that these trials will draw you closer to Him and to each other. We know that for those who love God all things work together for good for those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28. We pray that your home will be strengthened in faith and love through this valley.

We noticed your request speaks of God but does not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by calling on the name of Jesus that we are saved and that our prayers are heard. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name. If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9.

So together we pray, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our dear sister to Your throne of grace. Lord, bring truth to light in this conflict, grant justice and deep peace. Guide the doctor this Friday, give him wisdom and compassion to listen and to help with tapering this medication safely. Touch her body Lord, heal her back and her wrist, take away this pain and restore her. Grant her sweet and refreshing sleep and renew her strength each morning. Draw her and her whole family closer to You and to one another through this trial. Let Your protection and healing rest upon them. We ask all these things according to Your perfect will in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We will continue to stand with you. Keep seeking Him, keep bringing every care to Him in prayer, and trust that He hears you and is working even now for your good.

We have been thinking of you since reading your note, and we are standing with you and your family in prayer this week.

Carrying an unfair conflict while living with daily pain and broken sleep is exhausting in every way. It makes sense you feel worn down and are longing for truth to come out, for relief, and simply for someone to really listen. We hear how much you want to be pain free again to care for your home and to be out shopping with your daughter and enjoying time with your grandchildren.

With your important appointment on Friday, it can help to bring a short written note you can hand to the doctor. A few lines about how the medication is affecting you day to day, what you have noticed physically, and what you are hoping he will consider for a safe taper plan can make it easier to be heard when you are nervous or in pain. If you can, bring your daughter or someone you trust to listen with you and help remember what is said. Please keep bringing the back pain, wrist injury and sleep concerns to your medical team as well as to the Lord in prayer, so they can care for you fully.

We are also praying for peace in your home, that even in this hard stretch you would feel steadied and close to each other and to God.

Father, we lift our sister to You in Jesus name. You see this conflict and the stress it brings, You see her pain and her sleepless nights. Grant her Your peace as she waits, give her doctor wisdom and a listening heart on Friday, and in Your mercy bring healing and rest. Hold her family in Your care and draw them nearer to You and to one another. Amen.

We have received your burdened request and have carried it before the throne of grace, and we do join our hearts with yours in prayer to our great God and Savior.

We pray for you in this heavy and unfair conflict which so presses upon your spirit. We ask the Lord who is great in justice and great in mercy to cause truth to come to light in His own time and way, and to keep you through this trial. Trials must be expected by believers, for we must go through fire and through water, but the promise stands that we shall not be overwhelmed nor consumed, for He is with us. May He grant you that peace which comes not from circumstances but through believing. Being justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, and that peace is a filling and well founded peace, kept by Him whose mind is stayed upon Him. We pray that even while the conflict remains, you may know the blood of Jesus whispering peace within.

For your important meeting with the doctor this Friday we pray earnestly. We ask that the Lord will give the physician a listening ear and a wise and compassionate heart, and that He will guide all counsel concerning this medication which has made you so ill. We pray for wisdom to taper in a safe way, and for the Great Physician Himself to oversee the hand of the earthly physician, for He alone can speak the healing word and it is done.

We bring before the Lord your severe back pain and your injured wrist. He who touched Peter's mother in law and healed her fever is still able to heal, for there is healing in His very taking of our flesh. We pray that if it be His gracious will, He would restore you to health and ease your pain, that you may again care for your home and go out with your daughter and delight in time with your grandchildren, and that all such common mercies in the family may be sweetened by love for Him and done unto Him.

We pray also for your sleep and for strength to keep going. How often the soul is cast down in the night season, but we pray that He who neither slumbers nor sleeps will grant you quiet rest, and that you may hear His word to you, Go in peace. May that word come to you in the morning when you awake and at night when you lie down, and may you be able to say, My heart is resting, O my God.

Most of all we join you in praying that the Lord will meet you and your household in this season, and that these very difficulties will draw you closer to Christ and to one another. May you seek first pardon and healing through our Lord Jesus, for without justification there can be no true peace, and with it there is joy in God through whom we have received the atonement. In the heavy and unfair conflict you described, it is understandable to feel stress and to long for the truth to be seen. There are times when it looks as if wrong is succeeding and those who do evil seem to get away with it, and that can weigh deeply on the heart. Scripture reminds us that the Lord is just and that justice will triumph in the end. He does not always bring immediate cause and effect judgment in the way we might expect, or every person would face the same instant consequence, but He does see clearly, He knows the truth in every situation, and He will bring what is hidden into the light in His perfect way and time. We have asked God to reveal the truth, to defend you, to give you His peace that steadies the heart even while you wait, and to bring about what is right and fair according to His wisdom.

We have also prayed for your upcoming appointment with the doctor. We asked that the Lord would give the doctor a listening ear and an understanding heart, and wisdom to help you step down from the medication that has made you ill in a safe and careful way. The Lord is compassionate toward those who suffer, as Jesus showed when He healed even when others criticized Him for doing so. He cares more for people than for outward rules, and He is near to those who are weary and in need.

For your back pain and your injured wrist, we have prayed for healing. We long with you to see you free from pain so you can care for your home and enjoy shopping with your daughter and time with your grandchildren. We do not always understand why some are healed instantly and others experience healing more gradually, but we believe strongly that all true healing comes from God. Sometimes He touches instantly, sometimes He works gradually, and sometimes He works through the natural processes He Himself created in our bodies and through the help of doctors, and that is still His divine work. He also brings healing to our minds and hearts when we are worn down by long pain. We have asked Him to touch your body, to ease your pain, and to restore strength according to His will.

For your sleep, we have prayed that God would grant you deep and restful sleep and renew your strength to keep going. His Word speaks of how His instruction and presence keep us through the night and speak to us when we awake, and that He gives rest to His people even in difficult seasons. We have asked Him to quiet your mind and body at night, to guard you as you sleep, and to give you refreshed strength each morning.

Above all we have prayed as you asked, that God would meet you and your family in the midst of these difficulties and draw you closer to Himself and to one another. Like a seed planted in the ground, His Word often works quietly and gradually, first the blade, then the stalk, then the full head, even when we cannot see it right away. We have prayed that even in this painful season, which can feel like labor with little to show for it, the Lord would bring forth lasting fruit, comfort, and hope, and that you would know His nearness and His showers of blessing in your home.
