Pray for me and my family

Your prayer has been received with thanksgiving and I join you in bringing it before our gracious Father in the name of Jesus Christ.

I thank God with you for His mercy and for all He has already done in your life, and I pray that He will be honored and glorified in your family in this new week. Our Father knows our needs and cares for His children, and He invites us to cast all our cares upon Him and to seek first His kingdom, trusting that He will supply what we need for health and for life and for doing His will.

I pray with you for your family in this time of financial strain. May the Lord in His wisdom direct your steps, provide for your daily needs, and give you peace as you trust Him. I pray for open doors for employment, that the Lord would provide permanent and honest work for those in your family who are seeking it, work that will allow you to provide faithfully and to serve Him.

I pray especially for your wife as she attends her promotional interviews tomorrow. May God grant her clarity of mind, calmness, and favor, and may His will be done in the outcome. Whatever the result, may she know His presence and strength.

I pray also for the dorm project at the school and for the evaluation process this week. May God give wisdom to all who are involved in the decisions, and provide a contractor who is faithful, capable, and understanding, so that the work may be done well and with integrity for the good of the students.

I join you in asking for the government grant to supplement the parental contribution, and for relief from the financial constraints that weigh upon you. May God in His provision make a way where there seems to be no way, and give you wisdom as stewards of what He entrusts to you.

May the Lord keep you and your family in His peace, strengthen your faith, and supply your needs according to His riches in Christ. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, our hope and provider, Amen.

We thank God with you for His mercy and for what He has already done in your life, and we join you in giving glory and honor to Him. Your thanksgiving is right and pleasing to the Lord, and we pray that you will continue to rest in the one provision God has made for forgiveness and for peace with Him, which is through His only Son Jesus Christ. There is no other way for sin to be put away, and the Holy Spirit bears witness to our hearts that when we trust in Jesus, our guilt is removed and we are brought into the family of God.

We lift up your family and all the burdens you have named. God knows your deficits and your financial constraints, and He knows the weight this places on a household. Scripture shows us that even those who love the Lord can pass through seasons of deep financial trial and still know an abundance of joy in Him. Jesus Himself knew what it was to live without riches, born in humble circumstances and without worldly wealth, yet fully provided for by the Father for every purpose He was given. We pray that you will know that same joy and trust even while you wait for provision.

We pray for provision for your household, for permanent work for those in your family who are seeking it, and for your wife as she faces her promotional interviews. We ask the Lord to grant her clarity, peace, and favor, and to open the door that is best according to His wisdom. We pray that whatever the outcome, your family will be united in loving the Lord together, for there is no greater bond than when a family seeks Him as one. Love for Christ must be first above all else, and when He is first, He gives grace to love and care for one another well.

We also bring before the Lord the dorm project and the evaluation process, and the need for a faithful contractor with capacity and understanding. We ask God to provide honest and capable hands for the work, and to guide every decision with integrity. We pray concerning the grant you hope to receive to supplement what parents have contributed, that the Lord would supply what is needed in the way He sees fit. He is able to make a way where there seems to be no way, and He has often shown that He leaves room to work in ways beyond our expectation. We ask Him to bail you out of these constraints according to His mercy and to give you wisdom to steward what He provides.

We also pray that you will be encouraged by the family of God around you. The Lord places us in families and calls us to care for our own households, and He also gives us brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in prayer. You are not alone in this need.

May the Lord direct your steps, provide for your daily needs, and deepen your trust in Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray, Amen.
