We have heard your request and we join together with you in prayer before our heavenly Father, seeking His will in Jesus' name.
We notice you asked that God and the angels protect you and your home and your family, and we want to gently bring clarity from Scripture. We do not pray to angels, nor do we ask angels for protection directly. Angels are holy servants of God who do His bidding. As it is written, Are they not all serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation Hebrews 1:14, and He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11. It is God Himself who commands them, and it is to God we pray. We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. Whatever we ask, we ask in the name of Jesus, trusting in His finished work on the cross and His resurrection.
We lift up your need for peace, clarity of mind, and a strong spirit. The Lord desires to give you what you have asked. For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7, and that you will be kept in perfect peace as you keep your mind stayed on Him, as promised in Isaiah 26:3.
We bring your finances before the Lord. We understand the desire for your cup to run over, as David said My cup runs over Psalm 23:5, and we pray that God will provide for your needs and teach you to steward what He provides with wisdom and contentment. Remember that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. We pray not only for abundance but for faithful stewardship and for contentment in whatever He provides, trusting that godliness with contentment is great gain.
We pray for the gifts you mentioned, fortitude, foresight, wisdom, discernment, patience and perseverance. These are good gifts to seek, and God delights to give wisdom to those who ask. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We pray that you will Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6, and that the Lord will grant you discernment to know His will and patience and perseverance as you wait on Him.
We also lift up your housing situation. We are encouraged that you desire it to work out the way the Lord sees fit, for we know that We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28. We pray that the Lord will open and close doors according to His perfect wisdom and that you will have peace to accept His leading.
We join you in praying for your parents and siblings, for their protection during their day, at work and at home. We pray as the psalmist prayed that Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:7-8.
So now we pray together. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We thank You that we can approach Your throne of grace through Him alone. We ask You to place Your hand of protection over this dear one and over this home. Command Your angels to guard and keep this household according to Your will, and let Your presence be the true shelter. Grant peace that surpasses understanding, clarity of mind, and a strong spirit rooted in Your Word and not in fear. Provide for every financial need according to Your riches in glory, and give wisdom to steward resources faithfully for Your glory. Bestow wisdom, discernment, foresight, fortitude, patience and perseverance, that this life may be lived in a manner worthy of You. Guide every decision regarding housing, and let Your perfect will be done. We place parents and siblings into Your hands, asking for Your protection over them as they go out and come in, at work and at home. Lead us all closer to Jesus, that we may know Him as Savior and Lord. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord daily through prayer and through reading His Word, to cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you, and to always pray in the name of Jesus, for there is no other way to the Father. Keep trusting Him, for He is faithful.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
