Servant of All
Jesus Lord be with me and comfort my heart and mind and richly supply all my needs and make me not influenced by other people, in Jesus’s name, amen.

We hear your cry for comfort, provision, and protection from the influence of others, and we stand with you in lifting this to the throne of grace. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). He knows your needs before you even ask Him (Matthew 6:8), and He promises to supply every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Yet we must also gently remind you, and ourselves, that the influences of this world are powerful, and the enemy seeks to devour like a roaring lion (1 Peter 5:8). We must be vigilant in guarding our hearts, for out of them flow the springs of life (Proverbs 4:23). The apostle Paul warns us not to be conformed to this world but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2). This means filling ourselves with God’s Word, surrounding ourselves with godly fellowship, and fleeing from temptation, especially the temptation to seek validation or comfort in people rather than Christ.

We also notice that while you invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, we must emphasize that it is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to examine your heart and confirm that you have placed your faith solely in Jesus Christ for salvation, believing in His death and resurrection for the forgiveness of your sins (Romans 10:9-10). Without this foundation, our prayers lack the authority and power that come from being in Christ.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. We lift up to You, asking that You would draw near to them in this time of need. Lord, You see the burdens of their heart, the loneliness, the fear of influence, the longing for provision. We ask that You would comfort them with Your presence, for You have said that You will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we pray against the schemes of the enemy who seeks to isolate and deceive. Strengthen to resist the influences of this world and to stand firm in the faith (1 Corinthians 16:13). Help them to fix their eyes on You, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2). Surround them with godly friends and mentors who will encourage them in righteousness and hold them accountable.

Lord, we also ask that You would supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory. Teach them to trust in You, not in their own understanding or in the approval of others (Proverbs 3:5-6). Remind them that You are their provider, their shield, and their exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1).

If there are areas where has not fully surrendered to You, we pray that You would convict their heart and lead them to repentance. May they find their identity, worth, and purpose in Christ alone. Help them to walk in obedience to Your Word and to seek Your will above all else.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or unbelief that may be hindering their faith. We declare that is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Strengthen their spirit, soul, and body to live a life that honors You.

In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word daily, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Meditate on scriptures that remind you of God’s faithfulness, such as Lamentations 3:22-23, which says, "It is because of Yahweh’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn’t fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." Let these truths anchor your soul.

If you are struggling with the influence of others, consider whether those relationships are drawing you closer to Christ or pulling you away from Him. The Bible warns us, "Do not be deceived: 'Bad company corrupts good morals'" (1 Corinthians 15:33). Seek out fellowship with believers who will sharpen you and encourage you in your walk with the Lord (Proverbs 27:17).

Lastly, remember that God’s timing is perfect. If you are waiting on provision, a breakthrough, or direction, trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Keep your eyes on Jesus, and He will lead you through every storm.

We're glad you reached out. That simple prayer, for comfort, for provision, and to be less swayed by the opinions of others, touches something deep in all of us. We’ve been there too, feeling the pull of outside voices until it’s hard to know which way is up.

What we’ve found is that when we regularly bring our hearts to Jesus just as you are doing, something steadying happens. The clamor of others doesn’t vanish immediately, but we begin to sense a deeper anchor. Jesus called the Holy Spirit the Helper, the one who comes alongside to comfort, teach, and remind us of what is true. So as you pour out your needs to Him, know that He doesn’t simply hear you from a distance, He draws close and restores the quiet confidence that belongs to a child of God.

One practical thing that often helps: in the moments you feel most pressured or anxious, turn on a worship song or simply sit silently, naming one thing that remains true about God’s love for you. That small act can gently tune your heart away from human noise and toward the voice that has always called you beloved. Over time, we become less afraid of others’ influence because we’re more securely rooted in who He says we are.

Please know we are praying with you now, not for a quick fix but for the steady comfort and supply He promises.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this beloved one to You. Quiet their mind and wrap Your peace around their heart. Meet every need, physically, emotionally, spiritually, out of Your abundance. Anchor them so deeply in Your love that other voices lose their power to shake them. Grant them the gift of holy discernment to recognize Your leading and the courage to follow it. In Your name, amen.

Heavenly Father, we ask that You be with ### and comfort their heart and mind in every moment. Your Word says that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Richly supply all their needs according to Your glorious riches in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Guard them from being swayed or influenced by the opinions of others, and let them find their identity and security in You alone. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2), so that they may walk in the freedom and confidence that comes from knowing You. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

How careful God is of His people, those of whom He says, “My people”, mark how anxious He is concerning them, not only for their life, but for their comfort. “Comfort ye, comfort ye my people;” it is the Father’s yearning heart, careful even for the little things of His people. “Comfort ye, comfort ye,”, that one with a tearful eye; “Comfort ye, comfort ye,”, you child of mine with an aching heart. “Comfort ye, comfort ye, my people, saith your God.”

Why does He thus lift the beggars from the dunghill and set them among princes? According to His own heart has He done all these great things. God’s heart is the source of all blessing, and He gives without stint, with His whole heart and with His whole soul. Trust Him, then, to supply every need out of that overflowing love. “Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.”

But you also cry out to be made not influenced by other people. This, too, lies within His covenant work. The Lord begins to save His people when as yet they have no strength and cannot cleanse themselves. From all your filthiness and from all your idols, I will cleanse you. The comfort that establishes the heart comes from a peculiar source, His Word quickening the soul. When He quickens us, we are made to run in the way of His commandments, and this becomes our comfort in affliction. May the Lord comfort your heart and establish you in every good word and work, that you may be delivered from the sway of men and be held fast by His own right hand.

Jesus Christ our Lord and God our Father will not fail to cheer your heart. He does this work of blessing His people thoughtfully, with His whole heart and with His whole soul. Cease from leaning on your own feelings or the fickle breath of others, and look to Him who is able to sanctify you wholly by His Spirit. It is His work to save His people from their sins, believe in Him and you shall triumph in His salvation. So shall we pray for you and with you: Jesus Lord, be with Your servant, comfort heart and mind, richly supply all need, and make not to be influenced by other people, in Jesus’s name, amen.
