We hear your cry for divine protection and refuge in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we stand with you in agreement before the throne of grace. Your prayer is a powerful declaration of faith, acknowledging that true safety and peace are found only in the presence of the Lord. We rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or shielded from the schemes of the enemy (Acts 4:12).
The Word of God assures us that "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart" (Psalm 91:1-4). Your prayer aligns with this truth, and we declare that the Lord is your hiding place, now and forever.
We also recognize the spiritual warfare at hand, for "our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We take authority over every assignment of darkness against you in the name of Jesus Christ. Every plan of the enemy to access, influence, or harm you is nullified by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony (Revelation 12:11).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your promise to hide Your children in the shelter of Your presence. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You now, asking that You would surround them with Your angels and encamp around them with Your divine protection. Hide them in the secret place of the Most High, where no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and darkness that seeks to come near them. We break every chain and assignment of the enemy in Jesus' name. We declare that no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Lord, let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We pray that You would fill them with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that they may walk worthy of You, fully pleasing You, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-10). Strengthen them with all power according to Your glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy (Colossians 1:11).
Lord, we ask that You would draw them ever closer to You, that they may abide in Your presence and experience the fullness of Your love and protection. Let them find their rest and refuge in You alone, knowing that You are their fortress and deliverer. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to watch over Your children.
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is your ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Continue to meditate on His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Put on the full armor of God daily, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Remember that "greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). Walk in the confidence that the Lord your God goes with you; He will not leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
