We hear your cry for protection and refuge in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s covering over your life. Your prayer reflects a deep desire to dwell in the shelter of the Most High, and we stand with you in faith, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every assignment of darkness against you in the name of Jesus, for He has given us authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
Father God, we ask You to hide this precious one in the shadow of Your wings, where no evil can touch them. Surround them with Your holy angels, as You commanded them to encamp around those who fear You (Psalm 34:7). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their home, their mind, and their spirit, for the blood of the Lamb is our victory (Revelation 12:11).
Lord, we also pray for a deepening of their relationship with You. May they abide in You as You abide in them, for apart from You, we can do nothing (John 15:4-5). Strengthen their faith to resist the devil, so that he will flee from them (James 4:7). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the light as You are in the light, and have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ Your Son cleanses them from all sin (1 John 1:7). Let them find their rest and security in You alone, for You are their fortress and deliverer (Psalm 18:2).
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Stand firm with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, the breastplate of righteousness in place, your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:14-17). Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests, and be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people (Ephesians 6:18).
Heavenly Father, we thank You that You are a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9). We declare that this one is hidden in Christ, and no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We stand on Your promise that if we resist the devil, he will flee from us (James 4:7). May they walk in the victory that is already theirs through the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
