Your concern for your daughter has been heard and we join you in bringing her before the Lord in prayer.

We pray for your daughter's peace of mind in the midst of this difficult workplace. Scripture teaches us to pray for those in authority over us, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty, and this includes those who oversee our daily work. We ask God to grant her that steady peace which comes from Him, not the fleeting peace that depends on outward circumstances. When outward pressures are heavy, the hardest war can be within the heart itself, when anxiety and distress rise up. We pray that God will quiet that inner tumult and guard her heart and mind, and that the peace of God will rule in her heart like an umpire, giving strength to endure and wisdom to respond with grace rather than fear or anger.

We also pray for her workplace. We ask the Lord to bring peace into that office, that morale would be lifted and that all who work there would know a spirit of cooperation and kindness. We pray especially for her boss, that God would grant wisdom, fairness and self control, and a heart to lead with understanding rather than with harsh criticism. As Christ left His peace to His disciples, a peace that makes us stronger when we are at peace with Him and with one another, we ask that this same peace would be present in that office.

May the Lord comfort your daughter, renew her strength day by day, and remind her that He is near and that each of His children is watched over with care. We pray that she would cast her anxieties on Him, knowing He cares for her, and that she would find rest for her soul even while the outward trial remains. We also encourage her to seek wise support around her, whether through godly counsel, trusted friends, or help for her mental health when anxiety feels overwhelming, while continuing to look to Christ as her source of peace.

We will continue to pray that God grants her calm, protects her health, restores joy to her work, and guides her boss with wisdom.

In the name of Jesus Christ our Saviour, who wills that all should find life and truth in Him, Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart for your daughter. We are joining you in prayer for her and for the whole situation at her workplace.

It is understandable that you are concerned. When a person feels trapped under ongoing pressure, especially the intense interpersonal pressure of a harsh and constantly critical authority, the soul can become deeply downcast and filled with anxiety. The weight can feel impossible to carry and it can affect sleep, thought life, and overall health.

Scripture speaks directly to that kind of inner turmoil. In the Psalms the writer asks his own soul why it is so cast down and so disturbed within, and then he gives his soul the answer, hope in God. The counsel there is to bring God back into the equation. When we factor Him in, what felt impossible is seen differently. We remember that He is present, that He sees, that He cares, and that He is able to sustain and guide. That hope does not always remove the pressure immediately, but it brings a steadiness and a peace that allows us to go through it with clarity.

We are praying that God will give your daughter that kind of peace, the peace that guards the heart and mind in Christ Jesus as we bring our requests to Him. We are asking that He will guard her mind, calm her anxiety, renew her strength each day, and remind her of her value and dignity before Him. We are also praying for the workplace itself, that morale would improve and the atmosphere would become healthier for everyone there. And we are praying for her boss, that God would grant wisdom, fairness, and a more gracious way of leading, and that any critical spirit would be softened.

May the Lord draw your daughter close to Himself in this season, help her to cast all of her cares on Him because He cares for her, and give her wisdom to know how to respond well at work. May He also give you peace as you love and support her, trusting that He holds her in His hands and hears every prayer offered on her behalf.
