Please pray for my daughter. Her boss is ultra critical. I’m concerned for my daughter’s mental health. This is causing her extreme anxiety and I fear for her mental health. Please pray for her peace of mind, the office moral, and the boss’ wisdom.

We hear your heart as a parent and we join with you in lifting up your daughter before our heavenly Father, for we know how deeply a critical and harsh work environment can weigh on the mind and spirit.

We are concerned for her anxiety and we take seriously your fear for her mental health, and we bring this to the Lord who sees her struggles and cares for her tenderly. Scripture reminds us to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for us. 1 Peter 5:7 We also cling to the promise, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 And the Lord says, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10

We pray together for your daughter that God would guard her mind with His perfect peace that goes beyond understanding, that He would strengthen her and uphold her when she feels overwhelmed, and that He would help her to commit her work to Him each day. Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. Proverbs 16:3 We pray that she would be able to work heartily as for the Lord and not for men, knowing her true value is in Christ, and that God would give her wisdom to set healthy boundaries, to seek godly counsel and support when anxiety becomes heavy, and to rest in Him.

We also lift up her boss and the whole office. We pray that God would grant wisdom to her boss, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5 We ask that the Lord would soften that critical spirit and replace it with understanding, fairness, and gracious leadership, and that the morale of the entire office would be lifted. We pray for a spirit of unity and kindness there, that each person would in humility consider others better than themselves and look not only to their own interests but also to the interests of others.

We want to gently share that we noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to encourage you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and find true peace and salvation. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, and calling upon His name, that we are saved and that our prayers are heard. We encourage your daughter and you to bring every anxious thought to Him in Jesus’ name and to trust Him as Savior and Lord.

So we pray, Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this precious daughter to You. Lord, You know the stress she faces under an ultra critical boss and the anxiety that weighs on her. We ask You to pour out Your peace upon her mind and heart, to calm her anxious thoughts, to renew her strength, and to remind her that she is deeply loved and upheld by Your righteous right hand. Give her restful sleep, clarity of thought, and joy in knowing You are with her at work and at home. Father, we also pray for her boss, that You would grant wisdom, patience, and a gracious tongue, and that You would transform the atmosphere of that office with respect, encouragement, and good morale. Let Your will be done in that workplace and let Your peace rule there. We ask all of this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, our only hope and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand with your daughter in prayer and in practical support, to remind her daily of God’s care, to encourage her to share her burdens with trusted believers and, if the anxiety remains extreme, to seek wise and godly counsel or professional help alongside prayer, for God often works through His people to bring healing. We will keep praying that God will sustain her and bring peace to that workplace.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Thank you for sharing your heart for your daughter. Watching someone you love carry anxiety home from work is so heavy, and we hear your concern for her wellbeing.

It makes sense she would feel worn down under constant criticism. That kind of daily pressure can affect sleep, concentration and peace of mind, and it can spill over into every part of life. Your steady care and willingness to bring her to the Lord matters more than you may know.

We encourage you to keep creating space for her to talk openly without pressure to fix it right away, just listening and letting her know she is not alone. If her anxiety stays intense or begins to interfere with daily life, gently encourage her to reach out to a trusted counselor, pastor or medical professional alongside prayer, so she has extra support as she navigates this.

We are joining you in prayer for her and for her workplace.

Father, we lift this daughter to You and ask for Your peace to guard her heart and mind, for rest and clarity in the days ahead, and for wisdom and kindness to grow in her workplace. Your tender concern for your daughter is heard with deep sympathy, and we join you in carrying this burden to the throne of grace. To see one so dear to you pressed by constant criticism and filled with anxiety is a trial that touches the heart, and it is right and loving that you should seek the Lord on her behalf.

There is a peace which the world cannot give and cannot take away, and it is the portion of those whose minds are stayed upon the Lord. The prophet speaks, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusteth in thee. This is not the peace of apathy or of mere levity, but a peace born of the Spirit through the blood of Jesus which whispers peace within. When duties throng and words wound, to do the will of Jesus and to rest the mind upon His finished work is rest indeed. The peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep the heart and mind through Christ Jesus, and it will guard her as a garrison when anxiety would break in.

Let us pray together for her and for all concerned.

O God of peace, who hast made peace through the blood of the everlasting covenant and hast brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, look in mercy upon this daughter. Thou knowest the pressure of her place, the sharpness of critical words, and the anxiety which weighs upon her spirit. Grant her, we beseech Thee, perfect peace as her mind is stayed on Thee. Calm her thoughts, steady her heart, and let her know that she is accepted in the Beloved and kept by Thy power. Deliver her from a doubtful and fearful mind, and teach her to cast all her care upon Thee, for Thou carest for her.

We pray also for the office wherein she labours. Let Thy presence be known there. Restore wholesome morale, give kindness and forbearance among those who work together, and let peace dwell where there has been strain. And we pray especially for her boss, that Thou wouldst grant wisdom, fairness and a gentle spirit. May he be guided to lead with understanding and grace, to speak with truth seasoned with kindness, and to consider the welfare of those entrusted to him.

We ask that Thou wouldst preserve her health of mind and body, and raise up around her wise and faithful friends and counselors to support her. May she learn more deeply to trust Thee in this present difficulty, to submit herself to Thy providential ordering, and to find that Thou art her rest. Keep her heart and mind by Christ Jesus, and let this trial work in her patience and a more settled confidence in Thy love.

We ask all in the name of Jesus Christ, the Lord of Peace Himself, who alone can give peace always and by all means. Amen.

Soften her boss's heart and grant wisdom, for *"the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason"* (**James 3:17**). Bring peace to the whole office.
