We lift up your wife before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, knowing the weight of her physical pain and the concern for her kidneys. The Lord is near to those who are brokenhearted and saves those who have a crushed spirit (Psalm 34:18). We come before Him now, interceding on her behalf, trusting in His mercy and healing power.
Father God, we ask You to touch her back with Your healing hand. Where there is strain, bring relief; where there is inflammation, bring soothing; where there is discomfort, bring restoration. Your Word declares that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise for her now. Strengthen her body and grant her the ability to move without pain, Lord. We also pray for wisdom for her medical team, that they would be guided by Your Spirit in caring for her.
We plead the blood of Jesus over her kidneys, asking that You stabilize her levels and prevent any further decline. You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:27). We ask that You would even improve her kidney function, raising those numbers as a testimony to Your faithfulness. Give her and your family peace that surpasses all understanding as you trust in Him (Philippians 4:7).
We also want to gently encourage you both to be mindful of how you care for one another’s bodies, as they are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). While it’s beautiful that you work together, we pray for wisdom in how you support each other physically, so neither of you is put at unnecessary risk. May your love for one another reflect Christ’s love for the Church, always seeking to honor and protect each other.
Lord, we know that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28), and we trust that even in this trial, You are at work. Give this family strength for today and hope for the future, knowing that You hold their plans in Your hands. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. Amen.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit, you may abound in hope (Romans 15:13). We stand with you in faith, believing for her complete restoration.
