We lift up your son before the Lord, trusting in His perfect timing and provision. The Bible assures us in Philippians 4:19 that "my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Your son’s skills, experience, and service as a veteran are valuable, and we pray that the right doors will open for him in this job search. It is no small thing to seek employment, and we ask the Lord to guide every step of this process.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your favor to rest upon this hiring process. Soften the hearts of the hiring manager and HR team to recognize the qualifications and character of this veteran. Open their eyes to see how he would be a blessing to their company. We pray for wisdom and clarity for your son as he prepares for any interviews, that he would speak with confidence and humility, reflecting Your light in all he does. Lord, we ask that You remove any obstacles and align this opportunity according to Your will. May Your peace guard his heart and mind as he waits, knowing that You hold his future.
We also want to encourage your son to continue seeking the Lord in this season. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to "trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." This is not just about a job—it’s about God’s purpose for his life. We pray that he would draw near to the Lord, finding strength and hope in His presence.
If there is any anxiety or frustration in this waiting period, we rebuke it in Jesus’ name. The enemy would love to discourage your son, but we declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37). We stand on the promise that God has plans for him—plans for good and not for harm, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Lastly, we want to remind you both that our prayers are not just to a distant or impersonal God, but to the Father who sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem us and reconcile us to Himself. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the throne of grace, and it is in His name that we pray. If your son has not yet placed his trust in Jesus as his Lord and Savior, we encourage him to do so. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Salvation is found in no one else but Jesus, and we pray that your son would know this truth deeply.
We continue to pray for your son’s success, not just for the sake of employment, but for the glory of God. May this opportunity be a testimony of His faithfulness and provision. We trust that the Lord will open the right door at the right time. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
