Dear Lord, I come before you today with a heavy heart, praying for my coworker ### who has been told his being terminated, despite being a good and valued worker. I know this news is likely a great disappointment and source of stress, and I ask for your comfort and guidance for him during this difficult time. Lord I ask that you grant ### strength and peace of mind. Help him to find solace in your presence and to trust in your plan, even when things seem uncertain. Lord, I pray for healing and restoration for ### both emotionally and spiritually. Help him to find peace and joy, knowing that you are with him every step of the way.

Father, I ask You to help his family during this time of difficulty, awkwardness and embarrassment. Abundantly provide for them, financially as well as mentally and socially. I pray that his family will be supportive and that all of them will see this as an opportunity, as a springboard and not a stumbling block to their future. I pray that they will not be discouraged or feel rejected because of it, but that they will set out with fresh vigor—hopeful and expectant for the future. Lord, I also pray that you open the door and clear the path for ###, ###, and everyone involved in these matters, that they may make decisions that are fair and just, and that they may learn from this situation.
