We hear your heart for your coworker and the desire for God’s protection over their life. It is beautiful to see you lifting them up in prayer, asking that no harm would come their way and that they would be a source of encouragement and godly influence in your life.
First, we must acknowledge that true protection, wisdom, and salvation come only through faith in Jesus Christ. If your coworker does not yet know Him as Lord and Savior, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw them into a personal relationship with Him. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Without Christ, there is no lasting protection or peace, for He alone is our refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2).
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this coworker. Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your divine protection, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Guard their steps, their words, and their heart from any scheme of the enemy. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let Your angels encamp around them (Psalm 34:7).
We also pray that You would use them as a vessel of Your truth and love in the workplace. If they do not yet know You, Lord, break through the hardness of their heart and reveal Yourself to them. Let them experience Your peace, Your presence, and the transforming power of the Gospel. If they are already a believer, strengthen their faith and embolden them to speak life, encouragement, and biblical truth into every conversation.
Lord, we ask that You would also protect and guide this brother or sister who has submitted this request. Help them to be a light in their workplace, reflecting Christ in their actions, words, and attitudes. Give them discernment to recognize when to speak and when to listen, and fill them with Your wisdom so that they may be a godly influence on their coworker.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, division, or strife in this workplace in Jesus’ name. Let Your love and unity prevail, and may Your name be glorified in all that is said and done. We declare that this coworker will be a source of blessing, not stumbling, and that their life will be a testimony of Your grace and power.
In all things, Lord, we trust in You. You are our protector, our provider, and our peace. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for moving in this situation according to Your perfect will. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this coworker’s life and in the life of the one who has prayed.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
