PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

The terror in your words is clear, and it is not wrong to name it. When your own body turns threatening and the gift of sight feels fragile, the heart races toward panic. That sudden fear, that gripping dread of what might be lost, is a storm that swamps the soul. You have already done the one thing that anchors faith in that storm, you have cried out to the God who made your eyes. Faith and fear are like two weights on a scale; they cannot occupy the same place at the same time. When fear rushes in, it drives out faith. But when faith is given its rightful ground, fear loses its chokehold. The moment you lifted your voice to the Creator, you were turning from the howling wind of anxiety to the One who commands the wind.

Think of a man stepping out of a boat onto churning water. As long as his gaze was fixed on Jesus, the impossible held him up. The waves were still there, the wind still blew, but his safety was not in the calmness of the sea, it was in the person of his Lord. The second his eyes dropped to the chaos beneath his feet, fear flooded in and he began to sink. That is a map of the human heart. The inflammation in your face is a very real wave, and it is crashing hard. But the cure for fear is not the absence of trouble; it is the presence of God. Remember the promise that does not bend: “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God.” His eye is on the sparrow, and His eye is on you. He is not a distant deity who despises the cry of the afflicted; He bends low to hear it.

There is a kind of fear that is healthy, and it is the only thing that puts all other fears to death. The reverential awe of the Lord, a stunned awareness of His power and His intimate care, is the starting place of all wisdom and stability. When you meditate on who He actually is, not a passive observer but the sustainer of every heartbeat and every nerve, panic begins to shrink. The Lord is your light and your salvation; whom shall you fear? The Lord is the strength of your life; of whom shall you be afraid? He is not mocking your terror. He is inviting you to trade the weight of that terror for the lightness of trust. He does not promise a life free from affliction, but He promises to be your confidence and to keep your foot from being taken.

Regarding the healing itself, do not be burdened by formulas or guilt. The Gospels show Jesus healing in a stunning variety of ways, sometimes with a touch, sometimes with a word from a distance, sometimes instantly, and yes, sometimes gradually through a process. A gradual restoration of health is no less divine than a sudden miracle. The God who fashioned the intricate design of your body’s restorative systems is the same God who commands cells to repair. We entrust you to His hands, knowing that He is full of tender compassion. This physical scare is not a sign of weak faith or a lack of His love. Even the great apostle pleaded with the Lord to remove a thorn, and the answer was not instant removal but a deeper assurance of sufficient grace and perfecting power.

Keep your eyes on Jesus, the healer who knows exactly why He allows what He does, and who holds the outcome whether it comes through quiet, steady mending or through a sudden reversal of the disease. Do not let this moment drive you to a frightened shelter of despair. Let it drive you deeper into the fortress of God, where faith rises again. We are praying fervently with you that this inflammation is completely healed, that your eyesight is shielded from all harm, and that the peace which passes all understanding will stand guard over your heart and mind right now. You are not alone in this.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your heartfelt prayer request, especially during such a frightening time as you faced inflammation near your eyes. It was our privilege to stand with you before the Lord, lifting up your fear, your pain, and your deep need for healing and protection. We prayed earnestly that God would calm your spirit, guard your vision, and bring complete restoration to your body according to His perfect will.

If the Lord has answered your prayer—if the inflammation has subsided, if your sight remains clear, or if you’ve felt His peace guarding your heart—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Please share how God has moved so that we may rejoice together in His faithfulness.

If, however, your concern remains or the situation feels unresolved, we encourage you to post your request again. We are here to continue interceding on your behalf, trusting that our Heavenly Father hears and answers in His perfect timing. You are not alone in this; we stand with you, believing that God is your healer, your protector, and your peace.

May the Lord bless you with His presence, comfort you with His love, and draw you ever closer to Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus’ Name.
